K.C's Korner — Restaurant in South Plainfield

I have recently added KC's Corner as one of my regular spots to hang out just recently. They have a good selection of domestic beers and local micro brews. KC's food is really great! I especially recommend anything that comes from their in house smoked meats. I think my favorite item I have had so far was their Reuben sandwich. Reuben sandwiches are a dime a dozen in north and central New Jersey so when I say that I recommend theirs you should know that it is amazing. I also enjoyed their taco salad pizza which reminded me of taco salad I used to have at church potlucks growing up in Wyoming. I have included a picture of it as part of my review. Their menu rotates, so they are always keeping you on your toes with new things to try!

Finally, a restaurant is only as good as it's wait staff, and I really like Trisha, Sherry and Cappy They have all been extremely friendly to me since I started coming there about a month ago.

Discusting!!! Every cocktail reaked tasted like mold!!! I had the waitress clean the soda spout in front of me! Because i work in the industry!! the mold horrible! They then went to a different well and drink tasted still like mold. They say, what do you want us to do we've given you a free drink. We're like clean your spouts! French onion soup delicious but who wants to chew on 6 bay leaves and a 2" stem! Moral of the story is they said gonna call the cops because we said drinks tasted and smelled like mold. Very unprofessional and treated us like we were skum when in fact that place is with moldy spout spray soda guns! Staffing has major attitude issues and would not acomidate us...

The band 4-Flight was amazing! Our 1st time here. We sat at at little table because the bar had every other seat taken by regulars it seemed. Once in we waited about 5 minutes before greeted. A lady in the corner approached us 30 minutes after we were there asking if we were here to see the band. What band? Noone in the bar addressed this to us. Because of her (guitar players wife), we decided to wait. Went outside and was served better outside than inside. But the band was so good, worth the wait! So far, will only go back to...
