This place is the worst I have been to lately. The food is okay, not the best but not the worst either. The service is horrible, we felt discriminated by the waitress Pam, because of our ethnicity. While the owner was around, she pretended to be nice but when bringing our food alone, nasty and rude person.
We order plates with french fries and there was no ketchup, we called Pam many times and she kept ignoring us for over five minutes. Other patrons witnessed the discrimination by the rude, (loud) disrespectful lady as our server. We had to ask a different server to bring us ketchup, a server who was just arriving. Whence the rude and disrespectful server (Pam) noticed that we got the ketchup from the other sarver, she came to our table loud and pretending like nothing had happened. She kept asking if everything was okay. At that point, we just asked her for the check, but she kept being hypocrite by keep asking what was wrong. She kept asking the same question over and over again, at that point, she was harassing and we left.
At the register, she was very close to us, I guess to intimidate and avoid us letting the cashier know about what happened. We partially told the cashier/manager or owner about what happened, but at the end of the day, he was the one who designated her to be our server anyways.
Well, this makes us feel like it was done on purpose, for us not come here ever again. Congrats, we will not step foot in this place again! There other places who are happy to take our money in exchange of great food, service and elegance!
If you are person of color, do yourself a favor and save the disappointment by going somewhere else. This place will never see a dime from me ever again and I will make sure to spread the word to my friends to save them a horrible experience, discrimination and harassment for sponsoring this place (my personal...
Read moreThe owner(s) are nice there. The pasta sauce is too watery. It doesn't matter which Italian dish you get. I would recommend the Kebabs. I think sometimes they are too quick too pick up dishes, like they are watching me eat. I went to the bathroom, and when I came back, one of the workers was sitting right next to where I was sitting, but with half his body across the counter, like he was tired. I was like...okay. When I worked as a bartender, when I saw people do that, it meant it was time for that person to go home. The place could use some stimulation there. The other customers that I have seen walk in look cranky. It's not just the diner that needs stimulation. It's the waiters/waitresses as well. Don't get me wrong. The diner is clean. The entire setting is just...bland. They need like blinking lights, maybe food pictures in the windows. I would get rid of the open mint jar at the cashier counter with the spoon, and put individually wrapped up mints in there. Let's see what...
Read moreThis was a good, solid diner. When we walked in, I can’t say that the atmosphere was gushingly warm - it felt like a place that the locals go and we weren’t “locals.” But after a while the waitress warmed up to us and ended up being really nice and attentive.
The food was good - we ordered omelets and breakfast fare. What I really liked about them is that it wasn’t hard to get a reasonable sized portion. Normally, I’ll go to a diner and all you can get is a four egg omelet, but it was very natural to get two-egg omelets and a regular serving of home fries. I walked out happy and comfortably full.
Honestly, it was worth getting past the feeling of not being a “local” and I think I’ll go back there again. I can see this becoming my...
