We had reservations for Valentine’s Day, arrived a few minutes early and were seated right behind the host's stand. There was a paper menu on the table outlining their $75 set menu. This was the first we knew of a set menu as I don't recall seeing it on the website and they did not mention it when they called to confirm our reservation. The girlfriend is gluten and dairy free, the server said they could easily accommodate her with the choices of the set menu: they would have veggie sticks substituted for the pita on the appetizer plate, leave the cheese off the salad, provide a selection of berries and fruits for desert, sounds great so we agreed.
15 minutes later they brought out the appetizer plate with pita bread, no veggie sticks. We reminded the server about the gluten allergy and the veggie sticks that she had been offered. 15 minutes later the veggie sticks showed up.
Next course was the salad, hers shows up with cheese on it. We again explain the dairy allergy and they go back to get a salad without cheese. Salads are done and they clear the table………….
15 minutes later our entrees show up, mine is cool except for the asparagus, hers is warm. Both are really good despite the temperature. Speaking of temperature, everyone in the restaurant is eating with there jackets on, both of ours are zipped up and we are cold. The front door opens and the place drops another 5 degrees or so. Average temperature was between 50 and 60 throughout the night.
Desert shows up and they bring the girlfriend Baklava. Once again, we explain gluten free and that they had offered berries and fruits as the desert option for her. They take it away….
5 minutes later they come back and tell us they have no berries or fruit, no desert for her. They do give us a piece of cake to take home.
15 minutes later, they bring the bill. $75 each for dinner, 20% mandatory tip. Nowhere have I seen a tip added to a bill for two people, rarely have I seen it at 20%. No way will we...
Read moreWe had a delightful experience at Amoura Restaurant for arranging team dinner. We were a team of 19. The reservation was easy, just called them to book and put a credit-card for a hold.
The ambience and seating arrangement was good. Started with drinks, appetizers and ended with dessert.
The appetizers were a good arriving with fresh pita, falafel and dips including hummus, baba ganoush, yogurt, tahini, and a zesty red sauce.
For dinner my personal choice was the Chicken Kebab with fries instead of rice, the kenab was juicy and tenfer, not dry. Also ordered Mint Margarita that was refreshing.
Others ordered Beef steak, lamb kebabs, burgers and the list goes on and everyone enjoyed their food with the choiceof drink.
For dessert, I opted for the Baklava with ice cream. Although the baklava's base was slightly firmer than ideal but it was delicious.
This marked my second visit to Amoura, during my previous visit, I tried their cheesecake that was so good.
Service was comparatively better than last year, with the team being attentive and accommodating throughout the evening. Despite the large group, the staff efficiently managed the catering, ensuring everyone enjoyed seamless dining experience.
Overall, Amoura Restaurant offered a delightful experience, highly recommended if you're looking for a space to arrange a...

Amoura offers a classy and casual setting with delicious food and great service.
We were attended to from the time we walked in and through the entire dining experience. Plenty of privacy to chat and before we needed waters or anything, a smiling server appeared.
Our party of three wanted to dine after work. We were hungry and couldn't decide for what and where.
Mediterranean food never disappoints!
We started with Babaghanouge and Pita. For one in our party, their first time trying Babaghanouge. They enjoyed it so much, they were downloading recipes from Pintrest.
Order the Mezze Platter! Had we not rushed to order - our fault - we would have gone with the Mezze Platter to start as it presents a sampling of babaghanouge, falafel, tabbouleh and hummus with pita
Next were the main dishes. Two of us ordered the Kefta Kebab platter. A nice blend of ground beef and lamb, with the right amount of onion and parsley, with tahini sauce and seasoned rice. Delicious.
The Pan Seared Salmon with grilled vegetables and rice was cooked perfectly with simple spices and lots of flavor.
Other menu items include Prawn Kebaba, Lamb Bolognese, Shawarma's, Burgers and more.
We did not save any room for...
