Antigua Coffee Shop — Restaurant in South San Francisco

This place has terrible customer service. I called early morning around 7am today to make sure they were allowing dine in. They told me they were, so we headed there with my 17 month old so and 3 month old baby. We got there and first thing that seemed off was that I walked in with my 3 month old in her car seat and no one greeted me at all. I ended up having to say hello so they’d even notice I was there. I then proceeded to ask if I could sit anywhere since they obviously weren’t telling me anything. Once I sat the server didn’t say anything to me, but I didn’t mind as I was waiting for my husband to come in with our son. Once he came in he walked over to the counter to order our food, he made sure to ask how long it’d take as he had to get to work. Well they girl told him around 20-25 minutes. 30 minutes comes and out food still isn’t out, my husband at this point is furious as they keep bringing out take out orders. I understand getting take out orders out but you have customers at the table right there and then they should also be a priority. My babies were freezing because it was around 45 degrees out and these people have no heater in the place and the door completely open. The food took a total of 40 minutes to come out and honestly we barely ate it because it was not worth the money or time. I could’ve done a better...

Did a pick up order through over the phone which was smoothly. When I entered the shop which was really cute , I didn’t get asked for assistance by the staff which weren’t busy. Asked for my pick up so I can pay after waiting to get assistances for 3 mins even tho I was in front of the register. I had to wait a little more for my order which was fine and then when told it was ready and handed to me, they walked away & I had to bring to their attention that my orange juice was missing . (Should’ve been the first red flag) Unfortunately I did the mistake to not want to open my food up since I didn’t want to mess up the packaging and get it cold while I get back & to my surprise both plates were incorrect. One being an American plate (asked for a banana French toast) & veggie bagel (I wanted a bagel with egg & cream cheese only ) . The chocolate banana tasted like protein only and just pure chocolate mud . Orange juice was ok

I had to drive back to get a refund because I called them telling them the issues. Suckkkkeddd cus I wasted my time and gas But still...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Café Antigua Just Upped the Game!

Wow — Café Antigua really surprised me this time! A Caribbean breakfast on the menu?! That absolutely blew my mind! The black beans were cooked to perfection, the fried plantains tasted just like they do in the Caribbean, and the arepitas fritas with cheese, beef, and chicken were amazing.

And of course, their lattes were full of that wonderful Café Antigua flavor — but the horchata latte was the winner today!

Everything was delicious, creative, and full of authentic flavor. They’ve truly taken things to the next level!
