This little gem may be small in size, but it delivers an experience that rivals — and honestly surpasses — some of the biggest names in the coffee world. From the moment you walk in, you’re not just a customer — you’re welcomed like a friend.
The coffee? Smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. The pastries? Delicious and fresh, perfect alongside any drink. But the true standout here is the service. It was above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced in a coffee shop. Every interaction felt genuine, warm, and thoughtful — something that’s become all too rare these days.
The heart of Dead Eye Coffee Bar seems to be the owner (or someone who runs it like they own it), and let me tell you — their personality and kindness are what make this place unforgettable. You can feel the passion behind every pour and the pride in every detail. It’s that rare mix of excellence in product and in people.
If you’re ever in San Francisco, skip the chains. Go to Dead Eye. You’ll leave with a great cup of coffee — and maybe a little faith restored in how good...
Read moreSuperb cappuccino and cortado prepared by an expert barista in clean minimalist space. Both beverages exhibited strong notes of expertly roasted beans with rich crema that lingered on the palate. The cortado exhibited an intoxicating taste that rivals the best we’ve ever tasted - and we sample plenty across the US and beyond. Much attention has been devoted to the interior which is adorned with live plants and decorated with tasteful combination of tile and natural woods which maximizes the small space.Should have hired the designer to do my kitchen. There is no seating on site. Barista Rowby is a master of his metier and efficiently serves a line of patrons, many of whom were welcomed personally by counter person Gigi. Pride of ownership bounds with a variety of fun stickers and branding item. Roasted beans are available on site which is a big plus for me. Dead Eye rises to the top echelon of Bay Area coffee establishments and deserves to be...

We actually placed our order the night before, for a 7:15 am pick up time. In the morning, naturally we were running behind with three children. When we arrived, They have the shop blocked off with a table, where you are greeted. The shop is small, so I appreciate not jamming everyone into the shop. We got our drinks and chocolate croissants and headed back. I got the Tahitian vanilla latte. 10/10 Recommendation! My husband and MIL got the cold brew with the vanilla syrup. They both were silent until it was gone. Safe to say we enjoyed every flake of that croissant, and washed it down with those yummy drinks. Check...
