Superb cappuccino and cortado prepared by an expert barista in clean minimalist space. Both beverages exhibited strong notes of expertly roasted beans with rich crema that lingered on the palate. The cortado exhibited an intoxicating taste that rivals the best we’ve ever tasted - and we sample plenty across the US and beyond. Much attention has been devoted to the interior which is adorned with live plants and decorated with tasteful combination of tile and natural woods which maximizes the small space.Should have hired the designer to do my kitchen. There is no seating on site. Barista Rowby is a master of his metier and efficiently serves a line of patrons, many of whom were welcomed personally by counter person Gigi. We got a recommendation for this spot while visiting San Fran. We were staying close by (it’s in South San Fran). Easily accessible, lots of parking. We actually placed our order the night before, for a 7:15 am pick up time. In the morning, naturally we were running behind with three children. When we arrived, They have the shop blocked off with a table, where you are greeted. The shop is small, so I appreciate not jamming everyone into the shop. We got our drinks and chocolate croissants and headed back. I got the Tahitian vanilla latte. 10/10 Recommendation! My husband and MIL got the cold brew with the vanilla syrup.
