Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in South San Francisco

So this is in the same building as Chevron, and I was gassing up, and I was super hungry. I haven't been to a Carl's Jr. in years! Two people working. The lady was taking a drive thru order, and it seemed like they were having communications issues. The guy was inside the dark office looking at his phone. After 5 minutes, I told them it's okay to take their time since I wasn't in a rush. Guy came out of the office looking like I was bothering him big time. I ordered one of the $5 special, then I said, "I also want..." I paused because I was about to sneeze. Guy interrupted me saying, "no changes, no changes!" I told him, "I know." He must've been really busy because he was hurrying me. I paid in cash. He handed me a small beverage cup.

I heard the guy said, "here you go." Apparently he was talking to me. Then I got my food. They didn't even put the fries in a bag!

Maybe somebody should tell them it's okay to smile, say thank you, or anything to remind them that it's a customer service job.

Update. There are now only 2 items on the $5menu. Now there is a 6$ and $7 menu choice. Food itself was still woth stopping there after Costco. OLD Review follows. I had the five dollar meal with the burger onion rings fries and cookie. The burger was fresh cooked and delicious. The fries/onion rings were great even the cookie was good plus you get a beverage of ur choice. Service was above average. The atomosphere sorta sucks. Inside a quick stop type gasoline place.
