At this point in time, I've definitely recommended Hidden Spot to all my coworkers as a gem of South City eats. It just always consistently good and generous with their portion sizes.

We ordered in today as a group and it was very easy to place the order online. I also liked having the option of selecting all the fixins you wanted. I decided to go for the Blues burger this time but split it with a friend who ordered the Hills.

In terms of blue cheese burgers, I thought Hidden Spot did it fairly well. I liked the combo of crumbly blue cheese with the creamy blue cheese dressing BUT I did think that the blue cheese could be a little more funky if they wanted. The caramelized onions and Dijon mustard were a nice touch though adding both sweetness and a little sharpness to cut through the creamy dressing. The burger was cooked to perfection and overall, it was very enjoyable but it definitely didn't dethrone my favorite burger - The Kitchen.

Today, I had my leftover half of the Hills. To be honest, the roof of my mouth thanks me (cause Dutch Crunch). The Hills featured ample amounts of shredded chicken that's been generously tossed in pesto. It also features provolone cheese and the famed Hidden Sauce. My friend also added pretty much all the fixins which totally elevated the sandwich. The pickles and peperoncino added the twang while the jalapenos brought the heat. It was SO GOOD.

I really can't say enough good things about Hidden Spot. You have to try it and...

Looked on Google for the SSF branch, ordered online and when I placed my order I immediately noticed it was ordered on the wrong location. I immediately called the wrong location to ask that they will not prepare the food and to get help with refunding the charge. Their policy is to never refund online orders, no matter what happens. The problem is, they are using Toast as their online orders platform and on toast there is no where to contact customer service or cancel anything. Again, this is within 1-2 min after placing the order. It's not like I tried canceling after the food was already prepared. I then ordered from the right location and asked for help with the charge from the wrong location. The response once again was that no refunds for online orders. There's no one to talk too and I'll need to dispute this with the CC company. This a 3 figure $ amount BTW. So wrong of this business to behave that way. I'm sure a 1 star review will get you attention now. Shame on you that this is the best way to get you attention for a wrong treatment for your customers. This is not the 1st time I ordered from you or went to your location. This is disrespectful for...

I was excited to make a pitstop here for an early lunch, based on all the good reviews, especially about the food! Unfortunately, at 11:30am Dominique had zero interest in greeting me, taking my order, or even acknowledging my presence at the table behind the bar. Later I overheard her complaining to two gents sitting at the bar that she was only supposed to be pouring beer and working in the kitchen, so clearly she was out of her comfort zone with the notion of being friendly or taking food and drink orders. My seasoned fries were good, my Firehouse chicken sandwich was MONSTROUS! I’m a big dude who likes a big sandwich, but this was sorta inedible it was soo big! Same sandwich, 25-30% smaller might actually be an improvement. Landing a bartender or server who didn’t resent their position would be another. Oh, and since I’m being critical, i hate the little hand-held payment devices that require you to figure out a tip (20%, 25%, 30%??) while the tippee is standing there. In this case, you’re required to assign a tip when you order, before you even get your...
