I have been a loyal patron of Little Anita's for over a decade, and I must say that my recent dining experience left me extremely disappointed. Little Anita's has always been famous for its delectable green chili, but sadly, it seems that the quality has taken a significant hit under the new management.
For the past couple of years, my husband and I have made it a Sunday ritual to indulge in their mouth watering burritos. We cherished these meals, especially during the challenging times of the pandemic when we had to take a break from our visits. However, now that things have settled down a bit, we eagerly returned to our beloved restaurant, only to be met with a shocking surprise: the burritos tasted different and, to put it bluntly, rather bland.
After some inquiry, we discovered that Little Anita's had recently undergone a change in management, which explained the noticeable decline in flavor. It turns out that the new management made the unfortunate decision to water down their chili as a cost-cutting measure. This revelation left me feeling not only disgusted but also deeply disappointed. How could they compromise the integrity of one of their best dishes, especially when the chili is what this restaurant is renowned for?
Little Anita's has always prided itself on its chili, and it is a point of pride for this community. It is truly disheartening to realize that the new management's solution to budget cuts was to diminish the quality of their prized ingredient.
I can't help but feel that this decision is both unethical and a disservice to the loyal customers who have supported Little Anita's for years. The essence of this restaurant, its soul, lies in the vibrant and robust flavors of their dishes, particularly the chili. Diluting it not only affects the taste but also tarnishes the reputation and heritage that Little Anita's has painstakingly built. As someone who has cherished the memories and flavors of this restaurant for so long, it is with a heavy heart that I write this review. I sincerely hope that the management reconsiders their decision and restores the authentic and rich taste that made Little Anita's a beloved establishment. This community deserves to enjoy the true essence of Little Anita's, and I believe it's in everyone's best interest to rectify this regrettable situation.
Despite my recent disappointment, I remain hopeful that Little Anita's will return to its former glory and continue to provide the exceptional dining experiences that have captivated its...
Read moreWe have eaten here twice since moving into the area. Both times we used there website and ordered for curbside pickup. The first time was okay they brought out our food, they seemed friendly and we went home. Unfortunately I was not able to eat my food (everyone elses was fine) I ordered a refried bean and beef stuff sopapilla plate. There was no beans and the hamburger meat was still pink. The second time I went I texted the number that say on the website and processed to wait for 15 mintues before I finally called. When they answered I was put on hold and waited for almost 5 mintues before they came back. (Parking lot cleared out other then 1 car at this point) then was greeting with some women with an attitude because they no longer offer curbside even though it's on there own website. They brought out my food and I went home. Food was cold/soggy. This time I ordered chicken enchiladas with green on the side and the chicken was also undercooked and pink(See picture). Now I understand why people get sick from eating there food and I will not be back. Having one bad time okay fine will let it go, having a second bad time and then greeted with an attitude as YOUR CUSTOMER. I will...
Read moreI tried calling 20 after 7 PM to place an order and they wouldn’t answer the phone. So I decided to drive down there. My drive was pretty long as I came from Los Lunas but I figured they would be open by the time I got there because it would be before 8 PM. I got there at 7:48 PM and the lights were off and they were closed. When I started pointing to the phone to tell her the time they turned the lights back on, but she kept nodding her head towards me telling me that they were closed. I drove all the way from Los Lunas. If you guys are going to say you’re open until 8 PM, that means that you’re open until 8 PM. It’s common sense. I don’t understand why people don’t wanna work nowadays. Everywhere you go it’s pure laziness. It makes your business look horrible. From now on I will just cook at home as I can make the same food you guys serve. It’s not worth the poor service and to top it off the long drive. We end up not getting your food anyway so might as well stop trying. Everyone beware their hours are wrong online and they close whenever they feel like it which is very unprofessional. This is the Little Anitas on...
