It is 7:08 am on March 9, 2024. I just came from the drive through at the Keystone Ave McDonalds in Sayre. My order was taken at the kiosk, and I pulled around. I had ordered a medium coffee with my breakfast selection. When I got to the window, I was handed a small coffee. I asked the server if that was a medium coffee. She said no, it was a small coffee. I said “ sorry, but I ordered a medium. She snapped back that my ticket said small. I understand that people make mistakes, and that’s fine, but I wanted a medium coffee. She stated that it would be more $. I said “okay.” I attempted to give her the change she had given me, so that my order could be recalculated, and then they could give me the change for what a medium coffee would have been. She refused to take the money, and asked for the receipts back, which I gave her, and I was asked to pull up to the waiting area. A short time later, a guy came out and tried to give me more change, which confused me, because I was assuming I would have to pay a few cents more. The original server came out behind the other guy, and took the money from him. She then started badgering me, because I chuckled and shook my head. Because I had offered the change back to her earlier, and she didn’t take it. She was asking me repeatedly if I had a problem, and every time I opened my mouth to speak, she shot out another smarmy “ do you have a problem with that?” She told me it would be 30 cents more, and as I was digging the change out of my wallet, she continued to badger me. She was very rude and obnoxious! I never did get to say more than a syllable. I ended up having to give her 35 cents, because I didn’t have correct change. She went back in and got the coffee, and … more change! I was expecting a nickel back. But got a nickel and some pennies. ??? She handed me the coffee, and said that she put three creams in it for me. Honestly, I did not drink it. The attitude of this server made me suspect that she may have done something to the coffee. But I didn’t feel too bad about it, because I was given back more money than I should have been. I feel as though I was being attacked, just because I wanted the medium coffee I ordered! I wasn’t even mean about it! I really felt like she was so put out that she had to cancel the first wrong order, input the second, correct order, and get another cup of coffee. I never even complained about it. I just found it funny when someone came out and tried to give me more change! Come on! That’s funny! But because of that, I was verbally attacked by this pitiful employee. To the point where she was being so belligerent, I mumbled a not so nice word under my breath. If she’s working the next time I come to this McDonald’s, I will go...
Read moreGoing to McDonald's is something I very rarely do beyond road trips anymore, but there is a certain happy nostalgia to doing so. In most cases, at least, but not this one. Despite the fact that the facility was very well maintained, the meat and potatoes, so to speak, of any food establishment is the food itself, and this McDonald's was by far the saddest location I have ever been to when it comes to its food.
The photo attached to my review is the patty which was on one of my cheeseburgers. McDonald's patties are usually thin and mostly tasteless, but this one was misshapen as well, and did not even cover the entirety of the bun it was placed on.
My wife got the crispy chicken sandwich, and not only was it soggy instead of crispy, but she reported taking a big bite and got nothing but chicken fat for her trouble. Not just extra-unhealthy, but disgusting in the bargain. Oh, and the cap on her drink didn't fit, so that was a mess, especially while driving.
Both of us had fries, but neither of us finished them because they were completely unseasoned, not a speck of salt to be found. You hate to get fries over-salted, but it's even worse when there's none, because you're then forced to realize that what you're eating are soggy oil sponges.

Read moreI used to love going here after sport practice with my family and friends, great service and friendly staff. Unfortunately this is NOT the case anymore. I had a mistake with my order and called the manager on duty and she was very sweet and offered to make it right when I came to town again. Unfortunately she did not write this down so when I called asking how to get my replacement an extremely RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL worker named Ryan offered absolutely no help at all and refused to offer any kind of resolution. He mocked me because I got the managers name wrong who I had spoke to, he accused me of just trying to get free food from him (even though I have my receipt like previous manager told me to hang on to) and refused to even try to help me. I am so sad to see such an establishment keep staff that treat loyal paying customers this way! I would NEVER allow my employees to act and speak to valued customers the way that this man did to me. I will be telling all my friends and family about this incident, that could have so easily been avoided with some knowledge in customer service and just some plain humility!!! Just because it’s called McDonald’s and isn’t “fine dining” ALL paying customers deserve to be treated with respect. Is that really too...
