Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in South Whitehall Township

UPDATE: (1 YEAR LATER) I HAVE SINCE RETURNED & IT SEEMS TO BE ALL NEW STAFF & THE FOOD HAS BEEN FANTASTIC!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING IN AND GIVING IT A TRY! I WILL BE BACK ON A REGULAR BASIS!

UPDATE 2: since covid began we have ordered a decent amount of takeout and on multiple occasions they messed up the orders by adding items into the bowl/burrito that werent asked for or forgetting to add requested items. Pretty disappointing. I do not think chipotle is better but we have been going there a lot more often lately.

Easily the worst moes I have ever been to!!!! Upon entering there was no "welcome to moes" which was the least of the problems. There was also no line which we thought was a blessing but after our visit we now realize it was because the place is horrible. The customer service was pathetic, not pleasant whatsoever. I ordered a wrong Doug stack which she made incorrectly (no tortilla chip base) so the whole thing fell apart as I tried to eat it. On top of that, the ground beef was seasoned entirely different than every other moes I've ever been to. The whole thing tasted funny and in mind after the already bad experience I felt as if I was eating rat poisoning. I did not finish my food & either did my wife. All she ordered was a earmuff veggie which her food seemed okay but the vibe in the restaurant was such a turnoff we both lost our appetite. They had no music playing so it was dead quiet and awkward. Lastly it was 5 hours before closing but they had the chairs already flipped on top of all of the table seating which made it unwelcoming. TERRIBLE MOES WILL NEVER RETURN. FOOD MAKES...

ABSOLUTELY TRASH. I LOVE MOES FOOD WHEN ITS MADE CORRETLY. HOWEVER THIS SPECIFC FRANCHISE IS ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE!!!! They constantly try to cut corners on food. A stack is the tortilla, cheese, hard shell, ingredients from customer, hard shell and cheese. I walked out just now! Not 2 min ago as I write this. This just happened. Walked in, said 2 orders, 1 burrito and 1 stack. I said beef only. No rice no beans on both. First she said we don't have beef. Then another lady comes out the back area and says it's ok. She pulls out a pan of beef from a hot box behind counter. She puts 1 shell on my stack no cheese. Puts half of a scoop on each, then I ask for qeuso I said yes I know an extra charge that's ok. So she puts on both. She said ok what's on the stack. I said cheese, lettuce, regular tomatoes, sour cream and Chipotle ranch. She proceeds to put on the toppings except cheese. She say anything else I said cheese. She said that's last. I said cheese. She said is that it I said cheese goes on bottom and top. CHEESE. SHE SAID THAT IT. I WALKED OUT. SHE REFUSED TO ADD ANYTHING AND MADE A SMALL STACK AS IF IT WAS OK. It was missing cheese top and bottom and the other hard shell. That is my order I know how it's made by heart. The other moes in the area do it exactly right and it's very good. This moes! Cuts corners on portions, and still charges full price. This is the 3rd time something has happened to me at this location! Corporate needs to step in and either retrain or replace the franchise owner. Stop short changing your customers. I pay full price and I want what...

Moe's is supposed to be a happy place... there is no one happy here except management apparently! There is no one that says "Welcome to Moes”, because it seems that there is no one grateful for being here. The portion size here is a joke. I can reiterate quite a few other reviewers that said it seems that everything seems to be coming out of the employees salary. We went for Moe's Monday, and they gave the skimpiest portions ever... like half a scoop of meat, and that's it. They were even out of ingredients for their big day of the week Moe's Monday. Then the lady argued with me about getting more Chips... We showed them on our phones that Moe's, gives unlimited free chips and salsa, always. The lady at the counter said she would have to talk with her manager about it. Additionally, there is a Jamba Juice, and Annie's Pretzels in the same location, and I highly doubt that Moe's Corporation would allow for this as every other Moe's is it's own restaurant, and I even know Moe's Managers, that said that this setup is not Brand Standard and can get this location shut down if Corporate wanted to. To my knowledge there is not another Moe's with other franchises in it!

They should focus on doing Moe's well and they are failing miserably at that. Their Salsa bar looked like it was put out a week ago, and they argued with me about the free Chips... save yourself the disappointment, and frustration and just go to the Easton/Nazareth location... You'll...
