My recent encounter with PJ's left me utterly disappointed and disheartened. The calamity began with a seemingly simple order of a California Salad, but alas, what transpired was far from a dining delight.
In a bizarre twist, my request for Feta cheese was met with an uninvited presence of goat cheese, turning what should have been a harmonious ensemble into a chaotic clash of flavors. The chicken, presumably escaping its buffalo past, transformed into a dry, overcooked relic, further exacerbating the gastronomic misfortune.
As the ill-fated salad was mixed, an unholy alliance of Buffalo sauce and red raspberry vinaigrette assaulted my taste buds, leaving me to ponder the culinary confusion that unfolded in PJ's kitchen. It's perplexing how an order for a simple California Salad could result in such a disastrous medley of flavors.
Adding insult to injury, the server's attitude mirrored the lackluster quality of the meal. A second chance extended to PJ's proved to be a regrettable decision, culminating in an experience so appalling that it has sealed the fate of any future visits.
PJ's, you've not only failed in the culinary arena but also in customer service. This chapter closes with a bitter aftertaste, as this lamentable encounter marks the end of my patronage to your establishment. A word of caution to others: tread carefully, for PJ's appears to be a haven for horrid service and...
Read moreThe service and food at this restaurant is so consistently bad that it warrants a Google review. I ordered food to-go online through the website. When I got to the parking lot, I knew better than to wait for someone to bring the food out because I've been through this twice before and no one ever comes out. Ignore the to-go parking outside... you have to go in the bar and pick it up. I've contacted the manager (Janelle) about this before and she apologized and said she would send me a gift card to make up for it. The gift card never came... I asked about it after a couple months and a year later, still no gift card.
Tonight, I was really craving some hot wings and decided to forgive and forget all the bad service I've had in the past. As usual, I ordered online at 4pm and scheduled to pick it up at 5:30. When I got to the restaurant, they never sent my order back to the cooks. Now, I don't mind the fact that I had to sit at the bar with my toddler for 20 minutes. I decided to write this review because of how awful the food was when I finally got it. The chicken is burnt and tastes like the oil in the fryer hasn't been changed for months. There was hardly any chicken on my chicken sandwich (pictures below). No point in contacting management, cause nothing gets done. Just leaving this here as a warning to anyone else craving good hot wings. This is not the...
Read moreRude staff. Came here once before and the food was good enough to come back. But when we came back with a bigger group (8) including 3 small children, and asked how long it would be we were told about 30 min. Totally understandable with our party size. We checked in 30 min later to see how it was going and a different waitress had no idea we were waiting? The original waitress came back and said not to worry only about 15 more minutes. 15 minutes later another waitress came out to the waiting area and asked who we were because she only had one more name down and it wasn’t for as many people as we had???? So we were somehow still not on the list??? We went back in again and the waitress had an attitude and motioned toward the full tables saying we could either wait or sit on different ends of the restaurant because there wasn’t space for our party size at the moment. At this point it’s been over an hour. Totally get that not everywhere can accommodate 8 people but maybe say that in the beginning instead of telling us 30 min and seemingly not ever putting our name in the list anyway. Decent food last time, a shame we...
