Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Southaven

2 Star Reasons. I live near this store (1 star). Food is good (1 star).

Missing 3 Star Reasons. Drive through line is slow at the ordering stage. Seems like the employees are always having trouble with the iPads they place orders on. Either they clearly don’t know how to use them sometimes and other times “the system is having problems” I’m told. (-1 Star). Chick-fil-A makes 3 things primarily: nuggets, regular patty, spicy patty. If all you have to do is make 3 things why is there always an enormous wait for spicy biscuits? Is waiting in line 10 minutes after I order not enough? Now I must pull to the side and wait an additional 5 minutes on food. Is it really this difficult to to constantly have 3 things prepared and ready to assemble. (-1 Star) Parking is horrendous. Ergonomically the parking lot makes no sense and has no point for the middle section as you cannot even get to it when the drive through line extends past the entrance so you’re forced to wait in a drive through line that has nothing to do with you. The reason for this is stated above. (-1 Star).

These are not first time issues for this store. I’ve been to it multiple times with the same problems. Also, the managing partner of this store was/is running the olive branch store for numerous years and that store also had these same issues time and time again. I’ve no hope of these issues getting resolved and I’ll probably still go to this location when I’ve got 15-25 minutes to waste in line because of their proximity to...

If I could've given more than 5 stars I would. The employees are professional, very friendly, and act like they enjoy working there. On top of that 80 percent of employees are young and look like they're still in high school. It's great that this establishment hires these kids, it's giving the kids the opportunity to grow and see how work / Life experience is like. By juggling the responsibility given to them from their schools and employment as young men and women. I know some of these kids and I see how much it has matured them and the Respect I get from these kids, they are very respectful it's hard to find kids their age, especially in the times we are living in now. Chick fil la on Getwell in Southaven and the One OB are two of my favorites to go to in the Mid-south Memphis/Miss area. Just left this location coming through the drive-thru line and they told me once I’ve already waited 20 minutes that they “forgot” my order and I’d have to wait another ten minutes! The associate asked me to pull up to marker A and literally left me there! I had to get out of my vehicle to go and retrieve my own food! Once I went to the area where they hand out the orders, they told me it still wasn’t ready. I asked for a manager and she didn’t offer any compensation for the mix up! I asked for something for my waiting and she offered a free ice cream/brownie card! This is less than acceptable and I will follow up corporate. They will not get another dime from me.
