Bad business. Waste of time and money. They ruined Cosmic Bowling. I arrived Friday, Dec. 3, 2021 about 11 pm. I dropped my brothers off and left to pick up my brother finishing his shift at Baptist. When I returned it was about 11:30 and one of my brothers had already patronized the business by buying $60 worth of food(no problem). I then turn around and bought 6 pairs of shoes and paid for 6 people to bowl. We were placed on Lane 17. My neice was also a part of the group and she was excited because it was Cosmic Bowling. Our experience was horrible. At 12 am they started cutting the lights on and off. About 12:15, they turned on lights in all of the alley and the music stopped. A black guy with dreads who attends the shop ket walking past us talking about he was ready to go home as well as other young employees. He heard me say something about the music and then the music came back on but they kept playing the same track. They cut the light off again, but someone cut them back on a few minutes later. I dont mind people cleaning to go home, however, I paid for an experience, not bad customer service. I had not seen my family in 3 years as I was visiting from Houston and was catching a Flight back at 3 am Saturday morning. I feel like if I would have known how rude the staff was and that we werenât going to be able to Cosmic Bowl, I would not have wasted, $120 patronizing the business. This was my first and last time going to this establishment and I do not recommend anyone who wants to have a nice, mental getaway, party with family type of vibe to patronize them as well. Its sad to say this publicly, however I cant reach anyone by phone. We made the best of the time we had...
Read moreThis is my rating for our current experience with 3 adults and 5 children under the age of 12. No one answers the phone so you cannot check current wait times so if you are traveling far you may get stuck waiting for quite a long while. Also, it is currently under construction so you needed to order food at the front counter where games are reserved. The wait to order can also be kind of long as they aren't making food in house and you have to be delivered from Marcos. All the drink machines were "out of order" so you have to wait yet again in the long line and order them from the same person doing game reservations as no one is ever at the " food order" sign station. The arcade was also disappointing as half the machines were again "out of order". Most machines that were working are machines where tailored to older kids/adults and you do not win many if at all tickets. We waited well over an hour for a lane and about 40+ minutes for two medium simple pizzas. We also did not get to complete our game. We couldn't play our last two frames since the attendant give us the wrong lane number at the start of our game and due to the long line it took a while to get his attention for the correct lane number. The wouldn't even give us extra time to finish the game even though it was their mess up. Finally, the bowling experience was fun but they do need to have more smaller balls and people staying on top of cleaning them and placing them where you can actually find them quickly. Im hoping once the renovations are completed I will be able to update this review with a more positive one but it will be quite a while before I considering bringing my 5 children...
Read moreIf I could leave a negative star review, I would! This was the worst experience I have ever had bowling, and I have been bowling for over 30+ years. Went on a Sunday night and the group of young people they put on the lane next to us were some of the most disrespectful people I have ever come across. They kept trying to use our personal bowling balls, even after we asked them politely several times to stop. The young lady with them then decided to get an attitude, even though we were being polite. They kept crossing beyond the foul line and even onto our lane while we were bowling with no regard for us at all. The whole group was screaming and yelling at each other the entire time, we could even hear them over the music. One of the young men even threw a ball halfway down the lane in the air that landed between the lanes and onto our lane. This happened TWICE, while the two young staff watched it happen and just laughed. This group of people obviously had no home training and staff just let them run wild. We were on a lane directly in front of the front desk and they did or said nothing, just laughed every time someone from that group did something foolish. There was nothing family friendly about this experience at all! We went here because itâs close by, but I will gladly drive further and go spend my...
