Unfortunately my short time shopping with Stella Ivy has come to an end. After purchasing a pair of $45 sheer like / ruffle shorts with full lining. ( which i love ) After one wear for 2 hours to dinner the crotch started to unravel causing the threads to come loose and creating a hole. Because i loved the shorts so much I messaged the owner pictures of her crotch area with the hole . Explained i had purchased the shorts less than 2 weeks ago and worn them once - even sent the owner a picture of me wearing the shorts for size reference so she could see how loose fitting they were. She first told me she hadnāt had any other issues so she would have to contact the vendor she purchased them from. I really just wanted a replacement for the shorts .. no money back. Just another pair of the shorts because I love them. She kept going on she would have to wait to hear from the vendor . I expressed itās not really my issue with her vendor I didnāt purchase the shorts from her vendor I purchased them from her. She would need to work whatever out with the vendor but my issue was my transaction for $45 shorts that ripped after one wear. She went on to ask me had they been washed etc etc ( the answer was no ) does it really matter? I shouldnāt purchase $45 shorts from your store wear them once and they rip. Now she claims she needs to have the shorts in her hand ( even though I sent numerous pictures ) to ā inspectā to see if I ripped them, snagged them, or tore them before she can give me a credit for the same shorts. ( i even settled for the shorts in a different color because she didnāt have pink any longer )! How would I snag them or tear them in the middle of my crotch? I never asked for my money back I only wanted a replacement for the shorts and all she can offer me is please mail them to her on my dime and she will have to āinspectā them to see if i snagged them. This store has such cute stuff, but the billing system and the customer service lack a bit for me unfortunately. I hope they can get a real website instead of keeping your card on file and charging it DAYS later/after you comment to make a purchase and by that time your item MIGHT still be in stock.
Also for my current order I wanted to update ... itās been 2 days since a tracking number was sent to Me and now the package has not been taken to the post office . Iāve reached out to the owner twice now for a response received nothing . But as you can see below she is responding...

Stayed until i was one of very few people in the store, was only addressed after the second time someone was putting clothes away where I was shopping. Very cute clothes, but the size inclusiveness is definitely not there. Couldn't find any size bigger than a large. While everyone else was being treated like family or a bestie, I couldnt help but feel like I was treated differently due to not fitting their size standard. While I understand that not all stores carry sizes for everyone, the experience of shopping here was disappointing and uncomfortable...
