Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Southaven

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO EAT HERE!!! When I went into this restaurant it was a total MESS! Eighty percent of the tables had plates with dirty napkins stacked up high, with one girl trying to clean them all. How could she ever receive a tip, she never had time for customers. I felt so sorry for her. The floors were also filty. This is what takes the cake!!! The MANAGER grabbed a container of broccoli after taking care of customers at the register, scooped the broccoli out of the container to fill the salad bar, using no gloves at all! She then left the unsanitized bowl inside the container of broccoli, rung other customers up, handling nasty money, reached in and got the bowl, putting more broccoli on the salad bar, leaving the unsanitized bowl in the container filled with broccoli again. O MY! She then stood back scratching her arm, several times....continuing to fill the salad bar. This really grossed me out! I then proceeded to the register and personally spoke with her, explaining the disgusting things I viewed. She stated their franchise doesn't allow them to use gloves.I asked her for a refund. She then asked if I would like 2 certificates to come back, I immediately said, "I prefer not to come back". She said she would have to refund me my money back on my card and it would take 3-4 days. I was find with that. It has been 10 days and they haven' t refunded my money back yet! I've called and asked for the regional manager, the manager said the regional manager would call me, never received a call. I called back requesting the regional manager's number, the number they gave me was the wrong number. I called again, they said they're going to try and solve this matter within 60 mins.....REALLY? This has been an awful experience!...

Since I was in the area I decided to use my free meal. They have a card they will give you. Each time you buy a buffet they punch your card, there are five places to punch once you get to the six spot on the card the meal will be free. I have not been to this location in about 30 years. I use to live out in this area. Upon my visit the shopping center area was clean and well maintained. When I enter the restaurant I gave the manager my card, he was very friendly and professional. Then I ask him could they make me a personal meat 🍖 Lover's Pasta 🍝 Bowl 🥣, he said that they didn't do it. This caught me by surprise because I just ordered this at the Cicis Pizza 🍕 location in Memphis, TN on Poplar Ave. He said they were a different franchise. I said okay, hopefully he was being honest with me. So I decided to make me a salad 🥗 and I ask for some tomatoes and cheese 🧀. He said they didn't have any. So I fix my salad 🥗 and began to get some pizzas off the buffet. I went to the table and began to eat my salad 🥗, it was good. I started to eat my pizza 🍕 and it didn't taste good at all like the location on Poplar Ave in Memphis, TN. But I still ate it. Cicis Pizza 🍕 have the same recipe so it should taste the same but it didn't. The people was very friendly and the place was very clean. I also noticed that they have remolded and expanded the restaurant and it looked great. We got yelled at with an attitude as soon as we came in the door "It'll be thirty minutes before we accept any more customers!" It was with attitude too, very rude. There were plenty of tables free but they were dirty and covered in dishes. One person was slowly bussing the tables while it appeared the other 5 workers in there were standing around doing nothing, waiting for someone else to do whatever needed to be done. It was clear they wanted us to leave so for that reason we did not and we waited 20 or so minutes while the same thing was rudely told to the groups of people coming in the door behind us. After a while one of the ladies from a group behind us went to the register and said something to the worker and all the sudden her and her group of seven were being tended to and aloud to go in ahead of all the people who were still waiting. Then finally they let us go through but the people who skipped us had taken all the pizza off the buffet while we waited on plates. I understand this is a place to get cheap food so expectations for service shouldn't be high. I also understand getting a rush and needing time to adjust before allowing customers in but this was one of the rudest experiences I've had in my life.
