I’ve been to eat here twice this month. You can NOT go wrong with the all you can eat option for $25/ person. My review is specifically about the all you can eat option, as that’s what I had both times. My sister told me about the place and I’m so thankful she did. The first time I ate here was on a Sunday after church. They give you a laminated menu that you keep at your table. You can order everything at once or you can order it as you go. The sashimi was some of the coldest and freshest I’ve had in years! I ordered the salmon. So with the sushi/sashimi options & being all you can eat (AYCE), I wondered how they make a profit from this. *Also note this price is for an adult, prime/premium dinner pricing. During lunch & before dinner hours, AYCE option is $17 for adults. All day Sundays is premium pricing.
Here is the caveat: THEY WILL CHARGE YOU IF YOU WASTE THE FOOD! The prices are clearly marked how much for each piece of sushi & other foods ordered that is wasted & you can’t have a take out box. I was a little concerned with this at first, but I quickly adapted to this idea because there were three of us the 1st time I went & we all ordered from the AYCE menu. We simply shared/sampled some of each others items before we ordered our own. This way we knew if we could or would eat the entire item by ourself. For instance, I ordered edamame & there was plenty to share with everyone. The hibachi entrees are also smaller portions. However you can request a larger portion & they will accommodate you. What I Especially liked about this place is the fact that it’s not a buffet. You have a menu with all the options to choose from and we are talking about a front and back menu. You can get everything from appetizers all the way to dessert. The place was clean, and the wait staff was great. My second trip was on a Friday night. I was pleasantly surprised that we didn’t have long wait times. Not once did I feel like I didn’t get my moneys worth. I was indeed full both times when I left. Zero waste! 😊😎 Also note that the drinks of course are not included in this price. However they don’t charge for water. Finally, on special individual sushi/sashimi pieces, you can order a total of 10 pieces of this. Then each additional piece is clearly marked. If there are 3 ppl for example, there’s a total of 30 pcs for the table & they don’t mind how you split it up between the three of you. This is cool that they allow this. This is in addition to an entire page of various sushi rolls you can order that come with 6-8 pcs each with no limit on orders unless you don’t eat it all. Then of course, there would be an additional charge. I feel that this is a very fair way for them to be able to charge an affordable price for AYCE and they still make a profit. To me this is a win win for everyone. So arrive hungry, leave fully satisfied. I can’t seem to find the photo I took on my last visit, but I will update the post very soon with a photo as I know I will be going...
Read moreI really use to like this place. The food tastes decently good. But the policy is out of the way. I been here about 5 times and ordered online as well. Today will be the last time I get anything from here. I don't eat rice. I asked the waitress to not include it with my meal. She said it has to come with it. I said ok as long as I don't have to eat it, either way is fine. Every other time it wasn't a problem. They didn't try to charge me for the uneaten rice. Today they did. I explained to them that I asked for no rice and they said it HAS to come with it. And now they want to charge me for uneaten food. I said fine.. It's your establishment and you can have those rules and customers have to abide by that If they want your product, but I can't come anymore if you want to force me to eat your rice. And that would've been it. But the manager came over and told me last time she waited on us and I did indeed eat the rice. Which was a lie.. I told her. No I didn't eat the rice bc I can't so maybe she was mistaken.. She was adamant that I did. Which is why I said.. OK I'll pay and leave and won't return with my family again.. This was a very rude act from the manager.. Very impersonal.. The Hispanic waitress was very nice.. That's the only thing that made this last visit pleasant. I usually leave positive reviews for companies, but this one was unacceptable to accuse me of something that is impossible and be...
Read moreI was immediately seated upon entry but was not asked for a drink nor food order until 6 minutes of waiting. I ordered the dynamite roll and house salad w/ ginger dressing both of which were very tasty. I then ordered shrimp and chicken hibachi w/ fried rice and veggies. I wish my veggies were cooked to be more soft. The fried rice is good and I enjoyed the chicken although I didn’t care for the texture of the shrimp. The sauce that it’s cooked in makes you thirsty because of the salt content. I then ordered the steak and chicken hibachi w/ fried rice and no veggies. My first few pieces of steak were tough and the last was still breathing. I then ordered clear soup. My soup was delicious (forgot to get a picture) and so warming because it’s quite cold in here. I then ordered Krab Rangoon which was hot and yummy. Overall my review of the food is average and I would suggest cooking the meats for the hibachi longer so it browns and cooks completely thru. It is very likely I won’t be patronizing here again my total was $20.44 I left $25 (additional tip for...
