Moon Magick Cafe By Chey LLC — Restaurant in Southbridge

Was delighted to find a new-ish coffee shop in the area, so I went with my mother.

Menu was the most confusing part, as indicated in previous reviews. The link here on GMaps leads to a menu that doesn’t exist, so I did a separate chrome search for their website and was able to access the menu. I recommend QR codes on the tables and/or by the front for easy access to the full menu.

Note: I believe there are pamphlet menus at the register, but I didn’t see them until ordering/paying and none were offered.

I get overwhelmed easy by pressure to order, so I almost didn’t order anything, but fortunately the barista was very kind and accommodating, even though the two young ladies working had plenty on their plates!

If you’re looking for quick service, this is not your best bet, but if you’re looking for wonderful service and incredible food and coffee, Moon Magick hit the mark.

My cookie butter oat milk latte was incredible. One of the best coffees I’ve had. My mother’s coffee of the month was delicious (and only $2.75!). Her Reuben bagel was INCREDIBLE and my BELT on Jalepeno cheddar bagel was perfect.

Have been an occasional patron of this business for years at the Danielson location and a business manager myself for years. With no notice of the Danielson location closing listed on their actual website and only on social media that I found after, I went there today to pick up an online order I placed. A woman greeted me and said the business was closed and to call Cheyenne for a refund. Cheyenne could not refund me despite me being unable to pick up my order at their other location due to an injury that is currently restricting my travel, because she already made the product and would have to throw it away, which she’ll have to do when no one picks it up anyway. Fine, keep my 18$👍 I understand the other location has been closed for almost 3 weeks but a level of understanding for your clients who had been visiting your original location would help with continued and word of mouth business...

I never write reviews but this bothered me. I came here with my daughter a few days ago. The staff behind the counter were discussing personal issues at a volume where my daughter could hear. The use of profanity and vulgar terminology in this type of setting with younger people around was very off-putting for me. After reading some other reviews about this establishment, I am afraid I am not the only one who had a negative experience with the atmosphere. This is just some constructive criticism for the owner as well as the other staff that the customers can hear you. I know I was uncomfortable with this, being that my daughter was also listening. I unfortunately will not be back....
