Ramsey's Coney Island — Restaurant in Southgate

Today i went to ramseys for breakfast. I went with my husband,daughter and 4 grandkids. I will say i was a loyal customer that is untill today. We went to eat and started out with getting the kids chicolate milk, well the milk was bad.. Ok no problem it happens.. The waitress Rachael was awesome and took the milk apologized and got them all orange juice. Ok my granddaughter who is 3 was sitting in a booster seat and said look. She was holding something that look similar to dropping. Ok so washed her hands really good let the waitress know and again she apologized and was so nice and concerned we stayed.. Mind u she was being treated so bad by the guy cooking she came out crying twice.. Ok so finally get our food. Waitress apologizing the whole time. She had no control of those things. Then an eyelash in my daughters omelet. Ok now we really aint hungry anymore but the waitress couldnt not have done more.. She was even gonna give us our money back out of her own tips. Our bill was 49 dollars.. And yes we still tipped her well..I talked to heather the manager to asked her if the guy cooking was always so rude and treated his crew that bad. Well i decided to talk to him myself.. He pretty much said i was lying and said im not there to see why he yells they need to be more efficient.. She was waiting on atleast 30 people alone.. The guy that was cooking the tall one was a rude... Erragent ass. He not only talked to his staff like they were not worthy to serve his food but he wasnt any better to the person bying his food.. He was more worried about getting his food out then he was about how anyone felt.. He was awful to his staff..He should have learned something every child learns when they are born and thats respect. I salute you two ladies HEATHER and RACHAEL..I could not work for a disrespectful ass like him.. I will be letting my facebook family and friend know how terrible u...

It's a small restaurant but You should bring a Big Appetite!! They offer breakfast, lunch & dinner items. Coffee served hot & Delish! The service is always fast, respectful & kind. They'll Always great you and The owners makes a point to say goodbye & Tell u how he Appreciates your coming in. You may want to call ahead on a weekend to hold a table for your party if You're worried about timing. They'll usually oblige unless they're super busy with walk-ins. The restaurant is always clean up on entry. They have high chairs & a children's menu. This is Comfort Food 101-plus! Omelettes, Brkfst Skillets, Coneys, Sandwiches, burgers, homemade soups, refreshing Salads, Meatloaf & Roast Chicken Dinner's. A pretty good variety. This is the ONLY place that will make MY FAVORITE CONCOCTION... French Fries with Swiss Cheese Melted on top & Smothered in Brown Gravy. It's the closest I can get to Poutine Fries without having to go to Canada 😁. Just expect Good Service, Good Family Atmosphere, and Good Food.
