I have been here many times and just recently Hosted a birthday party here; everyone loved the pizza and breadsticks and had a lot of fun with the games. Everyone said they would definitely return in the future.
I would agree it was a good time but my only gripe would be the party room and axe throwing. Which also was a compliant by some of the guests.
A lot of us paid the extra cost to do the wrist band with axe throwing but there was only one attendant so only two people could throw at a time.
It was kind of a drag waiting for turns on the one cage so some people went to play other games while they waited, and then the attendant disappeared and we couldn’t play anymore. I myself never got to throw axes. A few other guests felt a little slighted by not being able to do the axe throwing but had paid the extra cost.
Additionally, paying $300 for the party room I would definitely advise people to consider your party size if it’s worth it. We did end up using all three rows of tables. But you do not get any incentives like discount towards food or wristbands.
Even if it was just a free wristband for the host or guest of honor would be nice but it’s just to sit in that area.
I ended up paying +$500 for that night which included: $60 for my wrist band & birthday person’s wristband. $300 for the room. And then $200+ for pizza, bread, and pitchers of pop. The party guests paid for their own wristband, drinks, and any additional food they wanted.
Initially I had paid for a few weeks in advance to make sure it was available to us on the day, on arrival we were advised where we couldn’t sit because of the leagues until I spoke up and said I had paid for the room.
Which, I get it they just opened and maybe had not checked the books yet.. but also why it sucked not to be able to do axe throwing like it wasn’t on the radar to plan for a slight...
Read moreThe food is good, drinks are great but the older lady at the door is rude. She did tell us if we want to axe throw we needed to let her know so she could get a axe master over there. We walked around and axe throwing was only thing avaliable. So we went and told her what cage we were going to. We waited a half hour walked up and told her again and then waited another half hour before we went to request our money back as it was already 930 they close at 11. The gentleman told us to go play a different thing however it was packed and that was only thing not being used. The older lady then kept telling us she could get us into everything right now. After refusing our money back. We decided to play the axe and ride the bull but that's all we had time for as we waited over a hour for axe throwing. It's really expensive. $16 for a pretzel.needless to say next time we will save money and just make our own axe throwing. Not work it at all....
Read moreI don't usually give 1-star reviews but this should come as no surprise to the owner whom I spoke with about our issues. Jeff and his mom, the owners, were so rude to my group and I that it reached the point where we just decided it would be best to leave and Jeff refused to refund us for the time we hadn't played even after his mom called me names, told us to leave, said she didn't want our business and even threatened one of our local business owners with vindictively trying to get him shutdown. Super disappointing end to the night because we were planning future corporate events at their establishment.
Unrelated- the lanes are too close together for fowling, pong, and cornhole you end up on top of the other players games, fetching their balls and interfering with their game to...
