The Verdict: This is my new favorite diner. The food was tasty and the portion was large and reasonably priced. A Daily Diner😋 Update 11-16-24 I had to return to try the French toast. It was crowded today, so I placed an order, to go. The service was swift and friendly. FYI- cash only and it closes at 12:00 p.m. 11-23-24 I’m back for about the 5th time now.😊 I ordered lemon blueberry French toast. It tastes like dessert.😋 My friend is happy with his large banana pancake. Great value, good food and friendly service in a family type atmosphere.

Pancakes are fill the entire plate big and taste great. Home fries are a little more like real cooked potatoes rather than fried and crispy but they definitely taste good. Eggs cooked correctly. Bacon was a bit undercooked but good sized pieces. Service alone makes The Carousel Coffee Shop worth a visit.

Me and my family love it here. Just a heads up that it’s cash only. It’s a small mom and pop shop and the servers and staff are so friendly. The prices are great too!! I’m so happy we have this great breakfast place in our town!

I absolutely LOVE this place! Hands down the best breakfast in Southington, I don’t care what anyone says. My husband and I go here religiously on the weekends and never once did we wait for a table, have a messed up order, or deal with rude staff (like some places in town). The people who work here seem genuinely happy, like they actually care about what they are doing. They are super attentive, always there to refill your coffee before you’re done. They are never “too busy” to make your food properly and accurately, and do it all in no time at all. I’m not sure what happens behind the kitchen wall in this place, but it must be some well-oiled machine that is consistent EVERY SINGLE DAY. We love it here. Cash only- but great food. Great prices.
