Hong Kong Kitchen — Restaurant in Southington

We've ordered many times from Southington. Usually everything is great! Tonight when we got our order they gave us a 2 liter Coke that we didnt ask for, no problem I guess the order size was big so it was a nice gesture except we don't drink Soda. When I signed the receipt it was $10 more than I expected but I neglected to calculate the price before they delivered. I soon realized they added an extra Generals Chicken because they make you order VERY fast on the phone and misunderstood our order then charged us....no big deal as we love it anyway. I decided to order the House Egg Foo Young because I hadn't had it in a long time and love it. Tonight I'm very sorry to say it was HORRID! I actually refuse to eat it because I am confident it has mold in it. It's easy to identify mold if you eat it by the taste.....It's very Earthy almost like dirt. That's exactly what this tasted like, actually putrid. So everything else was great, delivery man was lovely, but heck you see the issues. Will we order again? Yes of course but I'll be more selective next...

Every once in a while, I'd feel a little nauseous after eating delivery from here, but I always thought it was a reaction to too much msg or something, but the last time we ordered from here, we had a really disgusting experience. The chow mien we ordered had rotten shrimp in it. I can't imagine how they could miss something as foul and gross as what was in that container, I could smell it before I even opened it. When I opened it, it was like being punching in the face by a fist of maggots. I called them, the girl on the phone was totally sarcastic and told me it was their marinade! Yeah, right. I had to bring the container out to the garage because it smelled so bad. Our appetites were ruined and the rest of the food from Hong Kong kitchen was thrown in the trash, because none of us felt like taking the risk. Will never risk eating from this bio...

I thought these Chinese always put customers first turnout I'm wrong . I order my food the lady with strong accent I couldn't understand her I asked how long my food is ready she turn around and cut me off and said 'i just told you 35 minutes ' opps I'm sorry. Then 40 minutes later the guy delivery my food walk in hotel hallway with his sun glasses on the whole time he's seem like doesn't want other people recognize who he is, after I paid, I gave him some tip then I said 'Thank you' he didn't reply just walk off these people seem like they don't care customers or business we're order there food and gave them business no appreciation there, I wouldn't recomend this place to anyone in town here find you another loacation Thai food or someone who are really care and appreciate you give them business at least they say...
