Ordered a late dinner from here after the flyer arrived in the mail because it promised "New York style pizza." As a native New yorker, the bar for "New York style" was high (I'm from Western Brooklyn - where Di Fara, L&B, and Krispy were part of the regular weekly pizza rotation at my apt).

Delivery was fast, pricing was reasonable ($20 for a large specialty pie is pretty much the norm now... or maybe I'm just used to NYC pricing?).

Pies arrived hot, crispy, and sliced up well. We tried the bbq chicken bacon pizza and the mashed potato and bacon pizza. Both were white pizzas so no red sauce. (Unlike traditional white pie, that also means the absence of ricotta, which is not a bad thing). A tad dry given the lack of sauce - bbq chicken pie could've used a touch more bbq, but overall these were stellar. I would say very close crust to Krispy's dough, probably would be an exact match if made with nyc water. Nice, crisp and thin, not soggy or burned.

Toppings were great, bacon was well done and crispy which is a must for me. And the potato pie was delish - only thing that could've elevated it would've been shredded cheddar sprinkled on top.

Very happy to have found this place, and local too. I now have a good sub for my...

We have been getting food here for 6+ years on an almost bi-weekly-monthly basis. The past few times we’ve ordered food, it has not been the same. The pizza went from a consistent 9+/10 to now a 4/10. We usually also get a salad and/or an appetizer but we stopped because the quality is not the same. We got a Buffalo chicken pizza tonight and there was no taste. It tasted like eating 5 day old dough with a touch of oregano. How can a buffalo chicken pizza taste like nothing? My family has been relying on Giovanni’s for years and now it’s one bad dinner after another…we can’t justify coming back.

EDIT: Yes, this is Giovanni’s on West Street Southington. Yes, there is oregano on the pizza. Yes, we are fully aware of the change of hands…including the most recent. Yes, you gave us a pizza that tastes like stale dough and oregano. No worries. We will find a new family pizza shop in...

Owner does not stick what his employees tell the customers. He will put you on hold listen to the playback of what you ordered and what was said during the conversation. Even when he admitted that his employee stated what you told him (credit for a sandwich on your account) he does not make it right and will give you every excuse of why he can not honor what was told to the customer. He has horrible customer service. We used to order about once a week and sometimes my.husnand would stop for a slice or two when he got my son from school. This company lost all of my business. Can not give my money to someone who agrees what the customer was told but does not honor it. Lost a...

After working long hours at our booth this weekend at the Southington Apple Harvest festival. We don't eat out often because we are always busy. Happy to find this GEM Under new management. There Pizza is the by far BEST pizza in Connecticut! BBQ Chicken pizza and the wings are HUGE and very meaty like a wing should be. We also order a Ham and cheese Grinder (HOT) and it came out perfectly crispy, melted cheese and great meat portion. The customer service was so welcoming and great. totally recommend this place and will be back often 🥰

Visiting from out of town and love to try local pizza places. Ordered for take out and the staff was extremely friendly. Inside was impressively clean! The food was a great value and very good. Firm crust pizza, we asked for mild well done. Steak combo grinder had great flavor and the bread had awesome texture. Hot buffalo wings had a light crunch. Glad we ordered the hot version, I like spicy and they were not crazy. Would definitely come back if in town. All this food was $50 and fed a family of 5 with leftovers.
