MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes — Restaurant in Southlake

So, the experience began with the price. The 1/4 burgers, which turned out to be a bit small, were around $8-$9. MOOYAH doesn't do combos, so we got the family fries for the 3 of us. That was at least double, if not three times, of what we needed. My burger was the cheddar-bacon burger, which I didn't realize didn't come with lettuce and tomato. I held off the BBQ sauce as I don't like that on a burger. The bacon, piled on the bottom, was so crunchy that I couldn't taste the grilled onions. It might have been better if they were cooked a bit lighter. The Tillamook cheddar didn't disappoint and brought home the flavor that made the burger decent. The patty was pretty tasty as far as I could tell. The buns were sweet, which bugged my daughter since they were toasted, sweet, and cold. I didn't mind it. The fries were lightly crisp and nicely cooked. More seasoning of any sort would have been good, though. The servers were friendly and even helpful. Overall, I gave this place a 3. First time at this place and last! Overpriced food, burnt fries, soggy homemade chips and the smallest hamburger patty you'll ever see for the price! Had to tell them about the soggy chips that should have been crunchy if they where " fresh " . After lettimg them know , I was given fresh fries instead and then noticed how bad the 1st set of fries where. Cooked with old dirty oil or simply put they where yesterdays fries! I was so put off I just didn't even eat the dark fries or tell them about it . Then my daughter and I just shared the prepared right ones. Huge difference in color! We went right when they opened, don't understand why they would give burnt looking fries on the 1st batch and non crunchy chips???? They charge too much for such low quality control! Overall the burger was tasty but the patty was for a 4 year old! Very small and flat. More lettuce and bread than anything else! Definitely too small to serve to adults! Floors dirty and sticky. Tables not cleam. Salt and pepper shakers unusable due to being dry and hard. Outside front door filthy with dead crickets and dirt caked on concrete.

French fries were good. Strawberry shake was good. But my burger meat tasted sour or something. Took it back and they fixed me another but it tasted just as bad. Could not eat it.

I came on national cheeseburger day where you buy a drink or shake and fries and get a free cheeseburger. I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and mustard but got a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and mushrooms. I was charged for the mushrooms, so the burger wasn't free and I like mushrooms and would have been OK with that if they would have been seasoned well but they weren't.
