Second visit couple weeks later: Went in when it was not busy. Only one server and I was the only customer. I ordered the Sichuan Boiled Beef. It was pretty good, not as good as the northern dallas places. When they serve it, the top should be sizzling so you get to first enjoy the aroma of the sizzling sichuan peppers, garlic and cilantro. This one was dropped in front of me unceremoniously without even a word. The beef portions were generous and nice and tender. It was a little over-velveted, hiding some of the true beef flavor but it was still good. I would order again. I would get it to go though since they charge for rice as some reviewers have observed. I had most of it to go since its hard to enjoy without rice but i also had it with fresh noodles the next day. It just felt wrong not getting a single bowl of rice given the price of the dish. I could not get myself to cough up a buck for the rice. Anyways the noodles turned out to be better. Yay

First visit: Must have been opening jitters. The noodles that was served was inedible. Way too undercooked. I like firm springy noodles but this batch could have benefited from another 45secs in the bath. I told them it was undercooked but was ignored. I had to get the whole thing to go so I can recook it at home. The soup itself was savory but the sliced beef was too thin making it tasteless and textureless. I really wanted to like the lanzhou noodles but was sorely disappointed. The rolled beef was tasty although the wrapping was a tad too chewy for me. Too thick of a wrapper. However the fillings with cuke, cilantro, sauce and sliced beef was very pleasant and tasty. I had the pad thai to go since my wife was craving it even though I questioned the wisdom of getting padthai at a chinese place and as expected, she did not enjoy it. This time the rice noodles were overcooked and a 16$ mess of congealed starch with not much flavor. I will give them another try since I really want them to be good. I dont relish driving 50 minutes to get a decent meal. There's a decent place further up the road and its still my goto place if I feel a craving for xlb and nurou mein but this place is closer and hopefully it will get better. please let...

Atmosphere is good, service was ok (Given the restaurant just opened recently), food was terrible.

It’s hard to find decent Chinese food around the area, the one we frequent is exceptional but it’s boring going back to the same restaurant again and again within a short period of time.

We were so excited to try Noodles Work after reading the good reviews. The dishes looked good on camera, don’t get fooled by it.

Appetizer: Wonton soup and mouth watering chicken. Wonton skin is too thick and the pork stuffing is flavorless. The Mouth watering chicken is a disaster…it’s bland, old and dry, to the point that even the sauce cannot cover it up.

Entree: Stir fried noodle with beef and sweet and sour pork rib. Stir fried noodle with beef was ok. Except they used the wrong type of rice noodle. Pork rib is another money down the drain. The driest, tasteless, overdone pork rib I’ve ever had.

Dessert: Milk bun. Nothing special, the only dish I would say it’s palatable. I wish they would call it custard bun (奶皇包)instead because that’s exactly what it is.

In short, don’t go if you have a slightest idea of what authentic Chinese food tastes like, you will be...

First time here, and unfortunately it was quite a disappointment. We decided to try this place because of the high Google ratings, but many menu items were unavailable - some were crossed out, and others we only found out were unavailable while ordering.

The experience took a turn when my husband bit into a dumpling and was stabbed by a sharp piece of bamboo hidden inside - his first bite of the meal. His gum was bleeding for a bit because of how sharp it was. When we told the staff, the response was minimal - barely an apology. One server took away his plate and never brought a new one, so he had to eat without one. They did remake the dish, but by then our appetite was gone.

Throughout the meal, no one checked on us for refills or napkins. To top it off, when it was time to pay, we were first given the wrong bill. Even after I pointed it out, they accidentally charged us for the wrong ticket and had to void it to correct the mistake.

The food itself was just average - the rice was dry and hard, likely microwaved old rice. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and sadly we don’t plan on...

This is my first visit with several of my friends, 7 adults total, to celebrate the Moon Festival. We pre-ordered the whole Peking Duck couple days ahead of time for the dinner. To my very surprise, when we saw the dish and the duck was like a left over from a week old. It was horrible and disgusting. It looked like a burned charcoal, not to mention that it was not a whole duck from the meat that they cut out. How could a restaurant serve a $59 whole duck, but just like trash. Words cannot describe how bad that was, please see the photo yourself. I will NOT ever go back to this place again or at least suggest you NEVER order this Peking Duck yourself. In my experience it was a total disappointment and I should give it a zero star if I could.
