I would give Zero stars if I could. Went in expecting the same wonderful food and service that we consistently receive at the location on McCarren Blvd. WORST experience I've ever had any establishment in my entire life!!!! Girl behind counter was polite, when ordering she asked if I wanted a drink. I declined and said that I was going to get my water from my car. (I am 9 months pregnant and drink bottled water with electrolytes) she said nothing about this being against any policies. About 2mins later while sitting at the table a man came out from behind the counter and started screaming at me that I can't have my water. He didn't even attempt to try and speak to me in a normal voice, he just immediately started screaming. The 1 other patron was looking in disbelief. We should have demanded our money back and left at that point, but I was hungry and really craving a Juicy's burger. When food was ready, it was not worth the $65 we had paid. Frozen, Overcooked, Dry, Flavorless burger patties, fries were cold and ranch appeared to be old. We ate our food without complaint because we did not want any more crazy confrontation from the Owner. When we finished, I sent my family out to the car and I went to the counter to speak to the girl who took our order. I asked her if the man who yelled at me was the owner, she confirmed he was indeed the owner. I told her that while she had been polite when ordering he was out of line to yell at a pregnant woman over a bottle of water, (and one that I had told her I was going to bring in). I told her it was our first and last visit to that location, it was at this point the owner came out from the back and again started screaming at me. He screamed at me for not following their policies and yelled it doesn't matter if I was pregnant or not that I should have known better. I am not one to be verbally assaulted in such a ridiculous way, so there was about 2mins of back and forth yelling between the owner and myself.
For anyone reading this, save your money!!!!! Food was Absolute Garbage and Owner is quite possibly worst human in all...
Read moreBoy 1 star is being generous. I don't usually do this but I felt the actions of the "manager" were highly uncalled for and not becoming of the Juicy's brand I fell in love with when I lived in Midtown Reno. It started with a Door Dash order. I ordered a double cheeseburger, fries, and a milkshake. When I ordered, I looked up and down their menu for ranch. There was an option to add it on the burger, but not as a side like at the 2 other Juicy's location that offer ranch freely in their dining area. I thought this location was similar, but apparently not. I got a text message from my Delivery driver saying that Ranch was extra, and since I hadn't paid for it I wasn't getting any. That would have been fine, until she informed me that the guy that packaged her order was very rude and condescending about the ranch. I thought there was no way anyone would be that upset over ranch so I decided to call and find out what happened. Upon answering, I asked for the manager. The male on the other end informed me he was the manager, and when I asked his name he got defensive. He asked why I needed his name and I informed him it was to have a more personal experience, good customer service and all of that. He still refused, so I asked him about the ranch. He went into an angry tirade about how I didn't pay for it. I tried to explain that there wasn't an option on the app and normally ranch is free at the other locations, but I couldn't get a word in edgewater before he hung up on me. To "the manager" I hope you get a raise for saving the company $1 in ranch, because I will be personally passing along to each of the 400 employees I interact with on a daily basis not to patron your business. The other Juicys locations, however, are amazing and this experience won't deterr me from the...
Read moreI agree with most of the other reviewers here. I only write a review when something is really good or really bad... this one was bad. I went there today for lunch. I have never been there before, but it was recommended by a coworker. It was pretty dead inside. (Maybe an indicator). I ordered cheeseburger, fries and a coke. Tried to make a little small talk with the owner/cook, but he seemed like he was having a bad day... not really friendly. Well, he started to hand me a plastic cup, and I asked if i could get a Styrofoam to-go cup. He said " you're eating here you get a plastic one"... okay...?? So I ate. The cheeseburger was decent, the fries not so great... overcooked and hard. I finished and again asked if I could have a to-go cup to take the rest of my soda. He said nope, not unless I want to pay another three dollars. I asked why, and first he just said "it's my policy" I again asked why and he said he's "losing money giving away cups or people taking too many refills"... and while he included "sir" with every sentence (as I did when I asked the questions), he was practically yelling at me to leave (shoeing me out and yelling "thank you and have a nice day") If he was someone's employee I was have asked for a manager. Losing money on a three-dollar soda with a five-cent cup or a 5- cent refill (soda machine with syrup and CO2) ... come on. And rude to compound it all. Well, I won't be going back or taking my coworkers, or friends, or recommending it to any strangers. You can get better food at Scoopers around the corner.... cheaper, and with a...
