For years Jimmy John's has been my absolute favorite Sub shop. I wouldn't get a sub from anywhere else. And for years their service, reliability, and fresh ingredients kept me coming back for more. But sadly today after many years of loyal patronage I decided that this would be my last sandwich from Jimmy John's. After multiple horrible experiences in the last month at three different JJs locations I can't willingly support such an institution any longer. My first horrible experience was at a location in Greenville, SC about a month ago. This location is just 0.9 miles from my apartment. It took them an hour and 38 minutes to get my sandwich to me. When I spoke to the manager his response was "I'm sorry about that but what do you really want me to do about it?" What kind of response is that? I wanted him to make it right. He offered no suggestions on how to make up for such an inconvenience. I demanded a refund and one was never received. My second horrible experience was at a location in Spartanburg, SC. This location is just 4 miles from my boyfriend's apartment. It took them half an hour to get me my food and then the driver forgot my drink. As he was walking up I noticed he was missing my drink. I said "I think you make have left my drink in your car." He then stopped in his tracks and said "oh there was a drink? Want me to go back for it?" I told him no and that I wanted it refunded to me since I was not going to receive it. I never received that refund either. My last two horrible experiences were both at a different Spartanburg, SC location only 3.8 miles away from my work. I reached out on a Wednesday afternoon to have an order delivered and the man on the phone said "it's gonna take us about 2 hours to get it to you... is that okay?" Um, no that's NOT okay. What happened to "freaky fast delivery?" Because that isn't it! And my final horrible experience was today at this same location. It took them about an hour to deliver my food and then they called me back to inform me (before my food arrived) that my location was technically "out of their delivery range" and that they would "accommodate my delivery this time because it was their mistake" but that in the future they "wouldn't be able to accommodate a delivery to my location and I needed to be informed of that fact." My work is THREE POINT EIGHT MILES from this location. Someone please explain to me why this is "out of range" and why it was okay for someone to call me back TWICE to inform me that I was being accommodated? Why inform me of a mistake made by your staff? What's the point? In conclusion I'm done with this business. And if things continue as they are I'm sure you will lose many more patrons. I just wanted to share these experiences in hopes that someone could begin to rectify these issues taking place on a...
Read moreThis location is phenomenal. There’s been a few negative reviews about the staff, working conditions, and the overall state of this store. While unlike those unfortunate enough to be a part of Gen Z(ero), I myself am not a keyboard warrior. I only state the truth and if that offends others or hurts someone’s feelings, that’s simply reality so please get over yourselves. This location is managed by a gentleman who is passionate about customer service, his staff, and the environment in which his team make their living. He’s a husband, father, leader, mentor, and compassionate to those lucky enough to work with him. The assistant manager is one of the hardest working men I’ve ever been fortunate enough to call a friend! He will go out of his way to train anyone on any aspect of Jimmy Johns. He is without a doubt the Michael Jordan of the store, elevating those around him to be better! Reading some of these asinine reviews from obviously disgruntled employees about the working conditions they are subjected to diminishes the hard work, dedication, passion, and team mentality that drives the Pine St location. No one stands 14 hours as the store is only open 10.5 hours a day. Employees do receive a meal discount. While the GM has to enforce policies made from upper management, this location is successful every shift and every day. In spite of some questionable upper management, the team members that show up daily regardless of the bumps in the road, outside issues, weather, or life in general, this location strives to deliver the best experience to customers with freaky fast sandwiches, free smells and smiles, and a culture of treating every customer and coworker like a life...
Read moreThis location always gets our order wrong. They focus to much on fast and not getting it right. This past time my husband got us food. He ordered me a turkey tom and well all I got was turkey and bread nothing else! I mean really? No mayo not lettuce I mean literally bread and turkey. Not much turkey either. Looks like it was thrown together. Not much effort. I think I'll go to Jersey Mike's it's closer anyhow. I'm fed up with this location in Spartanburg. Tired of paying for things to be wrong. I love your subs guys but come on. Listen more to your customer and getting things right not just getting it done freaky fast! I miss where I worked before the location in Greenville on Haywood does a great job. I'd rather drive there at least an hour drive will get me the sandwich I want and...
