Upon arriving at the restaurant. It gives off a really warm Latin vibe from the parking lot. When I walked in to my surprise the waitress sat me at a dirty table. I asked her to wipe it down and she began to wipe half three table. I had to point out other areas that needed to be sanitized.
They serve you freshly baked chips on your table with Salsa upon arriving.
I ordered a water and the parillada dish. I also ordered the mama Juana queso dip. It's a great portion and really good. The small plates are very sheek.
Then the parillada is good but to my disappointment it doesn't come with tortillas. I have to say that it's the first time I ordered a parillada and didn't get tortillas to eat the proteins in my dish.
The decor of the place is decent and very vibrant and modernized with a twist of Latin culture.
As my time there progressed the number of people diminished and they were not quick to bus the tables. Leaving a bad impression to guests walking in and just seeing a bunch of dirty tables. It's not a good impression. The floors were filthy and the flies in the restaurant are disturbing.
There were only two waitresses working. Perhaps that's the excuse for the lackluster cleanliness of the restaurant.
The parillada consisted of Steak, chicken breasts, chicken wings, shrimp, Tostones, fried Yuca, and Quesadillas.
The steak was served medium but was bland to taste. You'll have to add a pinch of salt. The chicken breasts was really good and flavorful, the fried Yuca, and the tostones, were delicious. The chicken wings were kind of bland to taste, the quesadillas were on point and the cheese they use is different.
They don't patronize Military. Would I recommend it... Perhaps. The owner needs to...

Details: This place was fantastic. We went on a Wednesday night around 7:30-7:45, and the place was empty. Our family of six (2 under the age of 3) sat down and was quickly greeted. The waiter was prompt and professional. They brought out the house salsa, which tasted very authentic and fresh. I asked if they had a hotter version, and he replied with “yes, we have what we call the danger salsa”. The hotter, the better for me personally. He brought the danger salsa; it was hot but not unbearable. The danger salsa also had great taste which is tougher to find in hotter salsa sometimes.
Food and Service: We ordered our food, and everything was fast and FANTASTIC!!! Even my picky teenage boy loved his meal. My wife said the Burria she ordered was amazing, my daughter loved the carne asada, and I devoured every bite of my arroz con pollo. Every dish was perfectly cooked and awesome! The waiter even persuaded us into dessert; we tried the guava cheesecake, which was VERY good as well!
Family-Friendly Atmosphere: The lady working there brought out candy for our children in little Easter eggs and was very accommodating to our family and children. These seem like really good people and a great place to come and have a meal with your family and friends.
Value for Money: It was a tiny bit pricey in comparison to some other places but honestly, I feel like the quality of the food and service made up for that little difference. For a family of 6 (5 total meals - 3 adult meals and 2 kids meals - Large cheese dip and Dessert), we paid about $80 with a good tip.

Read moreFrom the time my husband and I walked in we were greeted with a smile. We were seated by one of the servers, and immediately brought chips and salsa and then we were greeted by the manager and owner Edgar. Edgar was attentive to our needs, bringing us refills on drinks, and periodically checking on how our meal was tasting. He even shared that he wanted people to feel apart of "Mama Juana's Family" each time they come to eat. His restaurant is a labor of love, and you can sense that when you enter! I hope that passion never changes. Now, THE FOOD! We ordered the chicken empanadas( it came with 3 and a savory white sauce)- They were fresh and handmade and the chicken was well seasoned. I ordered the Mama Juana's Bowl with chicken and my husband ordered the Pollo a La Brasa. The food was excellent, fresh, well-seasoned and beautifully presented. It was hot when it was brought out! The amount of food was way more than one person could eat UNLESS you were really hungry! The atmosphere was fun and upbeat filled with various Latin artist's music and salsa videos playing on the TV. They have a small bar area, simple decor on the walls, but a lovely mural on one of the walls. They do have a mixed drinks and beer menu. They are a plethora of other dishes to chose from as well- beef and pork. Lastly, the restaurant was really clean 👌, hope it stays that way. The prices are fair for the type of food and quality you are getting. I have included pictures of the current menu. Hope this review helps introduce Mama Juana's to the community! We will...
