Good food in generous quantities. Entrees are very modestly priced as well. Great place to bring the family or even a casual date night. Atmosphere is very casual.

Update: We hadn't been back in a while, but finally decided to visit again. The atmosphere was the same and the staff was overall soll friendly but this visit was far from the same as previous visits. Our waitress asked if we wanted lemon with our water. We all said no, but when our waters came they all had lemon wedges. We just set those aside. My daughter's and wife's plates were ok, but the coleslaw tasted a bit strange. I couldn't exactly put my finger on what was off but it just wasn't good. My mixed vegetables had an almost chemical taste too them to the point where I couldn't eat them. The salad had brown edges on the lettuce. The garlic toast was toasted but had almost no butter or garlic. My steak was medium rare on one side and extremely rare, almost blue-rare on the other side. How do you even do this on a 12 oz ribeye? The scallops were really good, but that was basically the only good part of my meal. I had eaten half my steak and was noticing it get progressively more rare but when I got to the middle I cut what was left in 4 pieces and it was cold in the center still. The waitress offered to put it back on the grill, which surprised me since this is a Serve-Safe no-no.

Another waitress was balancing a full pitcher of ice water on a tray and lost control of it. She dumped the entire pitcher onto a nearby guest and their table and booth seat. In all trying to figure out why she didn't have the pitcher in her other hand, which was free, by the handle.

Overall, i think it will be a long while before we come back again, if we even do come back. It is a shame, because they used to have great food and great service, but things have obviously gone...

Brutally honest here...Motif needs some updates. It is beginning to take on a musty odor of some sort seems like. The food was for the most part GREAT. I recommend the seafood platter. Definitely SPEND THE $3 TO ADD SCALLOPS (if you like them)! Only thing I would recommend would be to spring for q few extra bucks to get is GRILLED rather than fried. Fried tastes good but it doesn't keep well or reheat well in my opinion. The texture and grease just didn't, pun intended- "float my boat".

All that being said the staff was wonderful and I can't remember one of their names. Lol But I got 2 waiters/male servers if they prefer servers to waiters. The new hire was awesome. Attentive, friendly, caring which is a separate virtue from attentive. I could tell he truly wanted me to enjoy my meal. Kept a constant check on me and my drink filled.

His trainer had a energy that was INFECTIOUS! Ok, maybe not a good term when reviewing a restaurant but you know what I mean. Lol So high energy! He was training his protege RIGHT.

Other that the slight aged smell to the place, my only critical point I will make is about the soda. The Pepsi tasted like it had a little Mr. Pibb in it. Just didn't taste all that fresh. I think they probably need to service the...

New to the area so my husband and I decided to try this spot and at first we were going to get carry out but when we got to the back to order it was obvious this was the go to spot. Everyone was either picking up food or ordering and waiting. Since it was our first time we had to look through the menu, the longer it took us the more people came . The room was packed by now ,so we decided to leave but quickly changed our minds and went inside and sat down to eat instead . It wasn't really a lot of people dining in but the place was so big there was plenty of room also. Nice waitress came over not long after we were seated! I had the small Catfish dinner my husband had a Fired platter which included fish , shrimp, scallops etc. everything looked really nice and even though it took a little time we didn't mind waiting because we already knew the restaurant was busy preparing food for all the people in the carry section. The food arrived and boy was it worth the wait! Loved everything we ordered, even was able to bring some back to the hotel we are staying in. Definitely recommend this place and we will be back on the regular! Will know to call ahead or order online for carry out ! Get job to the...

BlueBay is my go-to restaurant when I want decent seafood in my town. My daughter took me for Mother's Day, and we shared a memory, she was 2 weeks old on her first visit to BlueBay, she is now 27. BlueBay has remained consistent in how they deliver their product. While many new economists would frown at their lack of changing with the times, faithful devoted patrons like me appreciate their commitment to their customers and not to frequently changing trends. Their food has tasted the same for the past 30 years, it's always fresh and yummy. Service is always on point; I cannot speak of one bad service I've had in 30 years.

We ate at Blue Bay Seafood restaurant for a Sunday lunch. It was busy but we didn’t have to wait. It was my birthday and they said they offer a complimentary cheesecake and their staff comes and sings one of the popular happy birthday songs. Our waitress was a wonderful friendly young lady (I didn’t remember her name) but her smile and hospitality made a great impression! In terms of food the fish seemed to be fresh and cooked well. However, I didn’t like the potato wedges at all, not crispy not tasty but my friend got a baked potato and it was perfectly delicious!
