I've used Marco's a couple of times and the first few were decent. The subs came quick and it's easier to have them deliver (when most other places have a $15 minimum food charge for deliveries) so I ASSUMED they would be a great business to use for lunches at work. Today, however, proved to me just how bad they really were. Sure, I've used them in the past but I was never in love with the food. It was okay, at an okay price. TODAY my coworkers sub had a sliver of plastic in it, big enough that it could have cut her mouth if she'd actually taken a bite of it, so when we called to let them know what happened the manager said he'd remake the order for us. Zachary, the manager, was eager to fix the problem which already won me back on their side... and then their driver returned with the new sandwiches. My coworker gave her the sandwich, with plastic, which the driver then argued wasn't plastic at all and tried to give it back to my coworker. It was plastic. You couldn't bend it at all. The driver claimed it was an onion skin... I don't know what kind of onions she's been eating but the skin tends to be thin (like paper) and is extremely flexible. Once she finally agreed to take it back, my coworker opened the new sandwich only to find it SMOTHERED in marinara sauce. The sandwich she ordered was a Steak and Cheese-- there's no tomato based sauce on their, because she's allergic to tomatoes. We called the manager back, again he was very kind and eager to right the wrong, but when we finally came to the conclusion that we just wanted a refund and didn't care for them to make any more sandwiches he sent the driver back to us. Once she came back, with our money, she stopped one of my OTHER coworkers in the parking lot who was coming in for her afternoon shift so that Marco's Driver could complain to my coworker about having to fix the mistakes. She even made a comment about wanting to blow her head off for having to come back again-- but we weren't the ones who messed up, they were. If you can't handle simple customer service, which encompasses customer complaints and issues, then you CLEARLY need to find a different job. Overall, thanks to the driver, I have no interest in EVER using them again. The sad thing is, the food is still pretty good and at a decent price, their on staff driver has just left me with such a sour taste in my mouth that I never want to do business...
Read moreUntil today I've always recommended a 5, but today left me sour. I order from Marcos at least once a week or two (for over 2 years) and I finally did the survey for the free cheese bread. The email thanked me for taking the survey and didn't provide any "code." Whoever took my order proceeded to tell me I was wrong and then said I wouldn't have been able to use it on my order, has to be regular priced pizzas. Um... Last I checked medium pizzas aren't on sale for 2 for $24!! I've attached proof of my survey below. I don't know if I'll come back again. Domino's doesn't put up a stink and keeps track of rewards. Survey advised the free cheese bread would be added to my account. It's not even about something free, don't offer something, then retract the offer. I've spent enough money at your store between pizza a tips...too much it appears. Good pizza, service sent out the window today...
Update** 2 days after requesting management reach out to me - crickets...not one word. But they sent a coupon code for free cheese bread after my complaint 🤣 - patronize me... I don't want the darn free cheese bread, wanted it then after the first survey I wasted my time to complete for nothing. Read moreThe fact that I order from here and get pretty decent service is acceptable; however, I ordered from here around about 10:00 pm, the order was supposed to "approximately" get here at 10:45 (not bad time at all) it is now 11:27 and I am still waiting on my order: (which was 2sandwiches)!!!!! I called the first time the driver said he'd "just delivered 7orders & would get here as soon as he could".... So I said okay I'll give it a chance since they're pretty good at the delivery times; I waited...I waited....& I waited some more,to only have to call back and now have a lady answer;I tell her I already placed an order & it's been an hour and a half almost she asks my name and I tell her, then she proceeds to tell me "he should be there any minute".....I ask if it's hot still....she says yes....IM STILL WAITING ON 2 SUBS!!!! I don't know what the issue is; but, they may need to hire more people who actually give a damn about their job! I'm sure this is my very last time ordering from this place! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!
