Pizza Inn — Restaurant in Spartanburg

Arrived right before 9PM. Sat down & Waitress asked what we wanted to drink and got it for us. We proceeded to go get our pizza from the buffet. There was not much to choose from & what was out for grabbing definitely was not fresh, no telling how long it had been sitting there. & a lot of items we’re just completely empty. I understand it’s a buffet and typically things go fast but no efforts we’re made to put fresh pizza out or any of the other food items that we’re up there - they remained not fresh / empty. The original waitress who brought us our drinks did not check on us not once. We we’re out of drink for a good minute before asking another passing waitress if she’d bring us some more tea and ( napkins ) because we never received any to begin with. The original waitress who gave us our drinks would pass by us and not acknowledge us even after she had glimpsed at our table and seen our cups we’re completely empty. She just didn’t care.

Lastly to top off the horrible experience of this place. I go to use the restroom before heading out. There are only 2 stalls in the bathroom. I go into the first one and a worker walks in moments later and asks another worker a question regarding some tea. This girl was in the stall next to me. Her name was mentioned ( BRI ) - she answered the girl at the door and shortly after flushed the toilet and walked out of the bathroom WITHOUT washing her hands. & she’s an employee. I was disgusted. For me to witness an employee using the restroom and walking out, without washing her hands as she should was just IT for me. You just never know who is handling your food/ drink and if they wash their hands after restroom use. I know Bri doesn’t. ( so watch out for her handling your food/ drink ) it literally takes less than 5 mins to wash your hands- there’s no excuse for that especially when you are handling other peoples food / drink.

The cost of this experience was $30+ tax. We also aren’t from the area and live about an hour away. Nothing but disgust and disappointment after leaving this place. I would not recommend...

Service is off cashier is a bit overwhelmed and training must be out with Covid okay now specifics. Nothing to get pizza with no gloves no servers available. Make sure you lick your fingers off while trying to get pizza and salad someone steals table where I left glasses and $400 coat glasses taken to register . Some large old woman sitting on my coat.get her off my coat got glasses from register. After finishing salad and plate of pizza, here come young lady finally asking what drink I want .I returned for more pizza,ate it waited ten minutes for guest check gave up went to pay get ignored for 5 minutes while cashier sorts out tickets ask me what I wanted I said to pay. Oh boy she then asked if I ordered carryout I said nope buffet for one.SHE WAS LOST because I had no ticket(cop let me off with warning Lol). She bothers manager she was miffed about having to help me cuz I had no ticket. Had to explain coat n glasses and show her where I partook of said food stuffs get huffy with me and cashier tell cashier watch this and showed which button to push.7 hours later as I type this I'm still a Lil upset at the whole situation. Will I return maybe is the food good not really anything to brag at but better than a totinos cuz it's warm already.Why do u point these things out there was a line of 8-10 waiting to get pizza but servers were all dirty .you need a team leader...

(PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ THIS AS I ONLY WRITE REVIEWS THOROUGHLY AND COMPLETELY) I did not like the pizza i ordered today 12/26/17....unlike my frequent visits I've had in the past, this by far was my worst pizza I've ever eaten from here. The pizza just didn't have that taste you crave, that you normally would receive. I ordered a bacon, ham, and cheddar and It looked a bit undercooked especially the ham and the cheese also looked and taste different.. This was the first time seeing it look odd. I should of spoke up when the waitress showed me the pizza, ( i really regret not speaking up and complaining about it) it was also cold by the time i got it to the car. i ordered it to be cooked as soon as they opened at 11AM. Called them 20 minutes till opening time, so im confused on why it was already cold. The waitress was friendly over the phone and in person. I hope this one bad experience i had here doesn't make it where I never choose to eat here again. Maybe i should have tried Asheville Hwy, (but only reason i didn't was because on one of there reviews a customer saw a bug crawling across their bar..) I hope they get it right next time as i don't want them to loose one loyal...
