The food is hit or miss. When it is good it is great, when it is bad it is horrible. It is either extremely good and flavorful and fresh or old taste like other food and over or under cooked. Make sure to always get an itemized receipt if rdering on the phone and not just the little receipt you get when paying for the food with only the amount owed, payed and change tendered because they will argue you down telling you thatits your fault the food isn't to your liking or that they cooked something you don't eatthen proceed to bad talk you in their language (particularlythe husband and the wife once proved wrong no longer wants to talk about it when you stand your ground and let them know that the service and behavior is unacceptable) this actuallyhappened. I typically don't leave negative reviews however it has been almost every time I come I specifically say to substitute certain foods bc I don't eat pork and it's almost like they serve me it after charging me full fries to substitute it.ex: I ask for shrimp roll I stead of pork roll that come w it and I ask for shrimp fried rice instead of pork fried rice ok be charged for a whole shrimp roll and a side order of shrimp fried rice but when I get the food and check it it is still all swine. If I make it home w the food that they deliberatly staple closed to deter you from checking it there and I call to correct it bc I paid for it and it was discussed they argue that I should have checked. When I check it there, they get offended before I even get the food out of the bag, which signals that they likely know exactly what they ate doing. Got so bad 1 day that I had to tell the husband that I strongly suggested he watched his body language and how he talked to me bc if he took 1 step from behind his counter toward me then the night would certainly take an unnecessary and unwanted turn for the both of us. I'm a very calm and overly respectful woman. However, when spending my money and being extremely clear on the services and goods I want/need in exchange ... disrespect and disregard will never be tolerated. It should be noted that it's only certain people I ve witnessed this game played with which others or catered to on the surface at least. You are expected to accept and be tolerant bad service and mistakes along with over charges for food not received but you won't be tolerated for speaking up or simply asking that simple human errors that we all are capable of making at some point be corrected. Again, I typically don't do these types of reviews, but it needs to be said because it's happened more times than it hasn't. I no longer patronize this business unless someone in my household wants it and pays for it. Me personally... I refuse to...
Read moreFood is ok. Service not so much. They try to charge different prices then what is on the menu. When you correct them they get a nasty attitude or pretend like they didn't understand yet they understand totally when it comes to money. They are super friendly and smiley to certain guest regardless of how said guest treat or talk to them but others..... Well you can be nice, patient and professional and they will try to be disrespectful or out right ignore you. This isn't just a 1 off experience with this restaurant. It happens almost every time I go there and there is never a reason for the behavior. So I can only deduce that there is an issue w me, though I see the same behavior from them with other people as well. Maybe bc I call them out on their behavior nicely... Either way it's my last time eating from them disrespectful is to easy to come by for free so there is no need to pay for it in the name of eating some hit or miss maybe fresh maybe not so fresh under or over cooked Chinese food. For anyone interested and don't mind the ride panda panda in Lexington is a far superior Chinese restaurant that is half the price with 2x as much food. Always pleasant and when there is an error, guess what? They are happy to correct it bc they understand that it is just business -...
Read moreCHECK YOUR FOOD!!! 95.5 sanitation.... so much is allowed with only one point taken off... I had my concerns but forged on because of the reviews... unfortunately the moment I spotted something black baked into my egg roll, I pulled that piece off to see if it was just crispy egg roll crust... held it up to the light, then I saw the striped variation in color and realized it was indeed a roach carcus. When I took it back with only one bite of the egg roll, and none eaten from the sesame chicken, the woman was very rude, at which point I had to resort to saying, "ma'am, I can show it to the rest of your customers sitting in here if you'd like!" I can't believe she acted that way after I hadn't eaten any of the food and clearly wasn't trying to get over. I just wanted my money back. Anyone witnessing will tell you, I made a point to continue trying to work with the woman until she sucked her teeth in at me and said something in another language. SMH. WOULD'VE GIVEN A ZERO...
