In Short: IF YOU PLAN TO SAVE MONEY/USE COUPONS...DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION unless you want to be treated like you're an inconvenience and leave upset.
Pizza from here is usually great, but today I was unpleasantly surprised to have a terrible encounter. Normally If I forget the coupons the person at the register helps me get them and even let's me know if I missed a better way to order to save money. But today that was not the case.
Went in to grab pizza like we do every other week, the front guy at the register was rude and when I realized I left my coupons at home on the counter on the way out the door. Once I explained this and i asked if he knew the codes or had any he took the coupons that were sitting on top of the register that he had just received and quickly hid them on purpose to tell me he did not have the codes nor knew what they were..if that doesnt explain the entire experience I dont know what does. I called my husband to read the codes and the guy at the register didn't want to even try to accept the code numbers I read off and he continued to be rude about it and then make me feel like I was holding up the line and was NOT helpful. 60 dollars later and beyond irritated that I spent that much on 3 pizzas that I normally spend 40 on here i am leaving upset and feeling like I should have spent my money elsewhere.
If this is the case on a normal basis I need to start going to the one...
Read moreI had placed my order at three so that my pick up time was 4 PM I arrived, and there was a line all the way to the street. I waited patiently about an hour later finally got into the store. The girl I believe her name was Amelia wearing the stitch costume had asked me my name three different times, never giving me the actual process of my order. (and was doing this to others as wel, seemed like it was her first day). Finally, I asked her I said, do you know how long it’s going to be she replies she doesn’t know because the tickets are all mixed up everywhere. Finally someone else asked me for my name and found it on the rack, the whole time I was waiting it was sitting on the rack. I get it was Halloween and it was busy but to have to wait for 2 hours for my pizza that was already sitting there it’s ridiculous, especially seeming like you guys had the staff, but there was no system in place which created a chaos mess for you guys. and the fact that you were still taking walk-in orders when you were so far behind is unfathomable, because wouldn’t you want to get caught up before you start taking in...
Read moreMy review has nothing to do with anyone working at this or any Papa Murphy’s retail location. This is simply about how ridiculous it is that so many of us will pay $23 for a 4-6 serving pizza that we have to pick up AND BAKE OURSELVES, and then their POS system has the nerve to suggest we leave a tip.
It’s a prime example of how a corporation will take advantage of consumers every time. The only reason they get away with it is because we all subconsciously have the price of pizza fixed in our minds, so $23 for a pizza seems appropriate when you’re not thinking about it. However, when you consider that you can get a two large pizzas that are already cooked for you from Little Caesar’s for less than this one Papa Murphy’s pizza with which you have to do a lot of the work. And I’m pretty sure their POS system doesn’t ask me to tip the employees who are essentially performing the same task that EVERY fast-food employee performs.
Do better, corporate.
And if you’re reading this, maybe think about going to a local place instead. They’ll appreciate your business and...
