Heading back to Seattle and thought I'd pop in here vs the java shack or Starbucks. Glad I found this little gem.
The manager really knows his stuff. One of the smoothest pulls I've had in a while. Clean extraction, no bitter notes, just really well-balanced coffee.
What really impressed me was how the caffeine hit. Like a smooth flight to Colombian highlands at sunrise. A light tap on the shoulder and before I knew it, I found myself dancing to department store music. How'd I get here? Oh well, I'm going with it. The landing was just as smooth.
The second leg of the trip was an interesting juxtaposition: an "identical" americano from Starbucks. The contrast was, frankly, educational. Where the morning's cup had been balanced and nuanced, this was well...Starbucks. Welcome to Spirit airlines. Landing gear optional. Much love Starbucks - just no comparison (which should be their company slogan).
What can I say. Their pastries are bespoke with intention, and very delicious.
Fortunately I brought back some of their Uganda beans so I can attempt my hand at their perfection.

Read moreJust wow! Don’t be turned away by the fact that this place is hidden in a strip mall. It is so worth what you’ll get inside — the kind of place and people I love to support. It was my first time in today and the guys who run it were so friendly, genuine, and down to earth. You can just feel the care and intention they have put into this business. I will gladly pay a little more for the food and drinks here, knowing the quality of ingredients used and the level of culinary creativity that goes into them. You’ll get nothing artificial here. I had a matcha and really appreciated the way it was made - without any fake tasting sweetener - just really good matcha that shines. I also tried the chocolate chip cookie (AMAZING - you can taste the difference) and pink lady apple galette. My friend had the almond quinoa cake and rooibos chai latte - both of which she said were incredible. What a breath of fresh air to receive such great service these days. Keep it up, Brew Peddler crew! I will be back to...
Read moreStopped into this coffee shop in Spokane and was blown away! The coffee was fantastic — rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. The shop itself was spotless and welcoming. Seth, who helped me, was incredibly friendly and by the time I left, it felt like we were old friends. I love that they roast all of their own beans, bake all their own pastries, and even make their syrups in-house. Everything was thoughtfully done and beautifully put together. We will definitely be coming back!
Edit: Tried the quiche on my second visit there. Holy mother of god! Best quiche I’ve ever had. Seriously, try it....
