Mostly I wanted to write this review in regards to the poor employees working here. There were 2 newbies (Gloria and I think the other was named Tyler) they were the only 2 working this afternoon as well as a manager (from another Carl's Jr.) this was during lunch time and the drive thru was getting backed up due to the lack of available staff. It got to the point where they had to cancel people's orders as it was taking too long for them to get the food out. One customer went belligerent on Gloria and caused her to cry which made Tyler step in to defend her. After this customer from the drive thru took off a few other customers also verbally abused the poor staff and there was not manager from that location to defend them, the acting manager herself was too busy handling refunds to speak to the screaming customers. After everything died down, a fourth employee had been called in to help out and everything seemed to finally settle down. I hope that the employees receive no repercussions for the way they handled their abusive customers and I hope that the actual manager of this restaurant is given disciplinary action for leaving 2 newbies and an untrained manager alone during...
Read moreI went here for the first and last time tonight. I ordered 2 milkshakes through the drive thru. Total was about $9. I get to the window and they aren't even full. I don't mean a little low, one was about an inch low and other was 2 plus inches low. She hands me these like nothing's wrong and says "we're out of whip cream. Sorry." I tell her the one was low and she says they are always like that when the one in my other hand isn't. So I have these low shakes, empty dome lid due to no whip cream, and not so much as a respectful response. She tells me have a good night in a snotty tone and closes the window. When she returns, I hand her the shakes and ask for my money back. She retrieved the manager who refunded me. Still no respectful response. I know working fast food is difficult and thankless but I also work very hard for my money. Any of these problems are no big deal if I had just been treated with respect. Read moreThis review is completely indicative of the general manager who was working the front counter. What a grotesque example of communication from leadership. The condescending comments, disregard for employee feelings, and the way the criticism was communicated was absolutely disrespectful. We took our family there because it was convenient and we just wanted to shave a quick meal, we instead spent the entirety of our meal listening to the manager berate the team around him.
As somebody who has worked for toxic leadership it is hard to listen to those conversations and not say anything. This store in particular owes a lot of appreciation to their staff for not walking out, and remaining productive while under fire from their leader.
