The food was beyond horrible. I wouldn't eat here again. Most of the food went in the garbage, because it was inedible. Everything was just bland and greasy. I ordered a combo meal with orange chicken, Almond chicken and chowmein. The chicken was extreamly hard and dried out. The gravy for the Almond chicken came in a separate container and tasted burnt. There was one burnt Almond cut up and tossed into the bottom of the box with the chicken. The orange sauce tasted like butter with some orange flavoring added. It was extremely odd tasting and the consistency was weird. The noodles were so greasy and tasteless adding salt didn't fix them. They were so greasy there was a puddle of oil in the bottom of the box. My husband ordered the 4* hunan beef. The beef was extremely dried out and had a weird mushy coating on it. I don't know who the cook is, but they definitely don't know how to cook good food. Our meals were disgusting. If I could give no stars I would! We decided to give Vina a second chance and regret it. Nothing had any flavor, it was completely bland and didn't even have salt in the gravy for the almond chicken. The rice was over cooked and mushy. The rice also had absolutely...
Read moreI used to go here at least weekly, if not more frequently, for years. My husband joked that I paid their electric bill because of how often I ate at Vina. Since the new ownership, I’ve been more and more disappointed with each visit. The pho is mostly just broth now, and asking for extra of anything will cost an arm and a leg, and I’m frankly not convinced they even give you any extra, even if they charge for it. The portions are just so meager now.
(I’m speaking about the pho, specifically, because I don’t know if other menu items have changed.)
The servers take your order, eventually drop it off, and never come back. I’ve had to get up and look for my server to ask for more water, only for her to forget until I ask again and sometimes even again — not only on one occasion, but every recent visit. I’m sad, because their pho and spring rolls were my ultimate go-to comfort food, but it’s just not the same and not worth going...
Read moreI ordered a lunch special with kung pao chicken and Mongolian beef. These are my go to choices so I am pretty familiar with the ingredients and taste of each. What I received is nothing like any kung pao chicken and Mongolian beef I have had. There was no sauce or flavor of any kind in the food and soup I received. It was as if I was eating boiled beef and chicken. The soup was mildly flavored hot water and was about the size of a large shot glass - see photo for scale. I called to explain that I must have received the wrong order, but was told that this is in fact their Mongolian beef and kung pao chicken. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because when I asked if I could bring the food back and get a refund, there was no argument. I processed my refund on post mates without an issue. This rating is strictly based on the food quality, flavor and portion size. I had no issue with the customer service and was able to get...
