Gerardo's Authentic Mexican Food is a delightful culinary gem that takes you on a flavorful journey through the heart of Mexico. During our recent visit, we had the pleasure of savoring their carne asada street tacos, and they left us completely satisfied.
The aroma that greeted us upon entering the restaurant instantly transported us to the bustling streets of Mexico, setting the stage for an authentic dining experience. The carne asada street tacos were bursting with traditional Mexican flavors, tender and perfectly seasoned. Each bite was a celebration of the country's rich culinary heritage.
To complement our meal, we opted for the fresh drinks, and they were a refreshing delight. From the tangy tamarind agua fresca to the zesty horchata, the beverages truly enhanced our dining experience and offered a genuine taste of Mexico.
Aside from the scrumptious food and drinks, we were impressed by the exceptional customer service provided by a young lady who attended to us. Her warm hospitality and attentiveness added to the overall enjoyment of our visit, making us feel like valued guests.
Moreover, the pricing at Gerardo's is remarkably reasonable, offering great value for the delectable dishes they serve. It's commendable how they maintain such high-quality food without compromising on affordability.
In conclusion, Gerardo's Authentic Mexican Food is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Mexico. Their carne asada street tacos and fresh drinks are a delightful revelation, and the exceptional customer service only adds to the overall experience. We left the restaurant with happy hearts and satisfied taste buds, eager to return for more culinary delights. Don't miss out on...
Read moreWASTE OF MONEY! Spent 30 plus a tip only to bring home horribly watered down refried beans that spilled all over the bag and on everything else, they also had no flavor. Found the rice under all the hot bean water and was not worth trying at that point. Ordered chips and a side of Salsa but instead received a clam shell full of burnt chips completely covered in diced onion. My daughter could hardly bite though the burnt taco. The guacamole she ordered to go with it was more like green water in a small cup. And our 2 enchilada meals were insanely greasy. We made it through one bite each before the flavor of bile, that it gave off, made us sick to our stomachs.
I've NEVER in my life been so disgusted in a meal that I've driven back and tried to return all of it. The person who took our order in the first place rolled her eyes at me and said the manager wasn't here to give us a return on our money. We called several times in two days to see when he would be in, but apparently he is never there. I regret giving her the 6 dollar tip and I regret wasting my families hard earned money here. I've had authentic mexican food from here to Mexico and none of it was made as poorly as this. Never again. I strongly encourage anyone who is looking for good mexican food to read all the negative comments and then go somewhere else, like we...
Read moreWow! Just got back from Gerardo’s . . .again! It’s time to give credit where credit is due. Every time we come to Spokane, I urge my wife to have lunch there. Every time we are greeted by a smiling, very bilingual young lady who patiently waits while my wife decides just what to have this time. (It’s inspiring to hear someone communicate with customers and the kitchen switching fluidly between languages sometimes all in the same sentence.) I am a sucker for their adobada super burrito. The cook always seems to have a magic way with the food. Simple, not fancy or flowery but very substantial in portion, perfectly seasoned and just about as real as it can get in every way. To top it off, the atmosphere is also very real. Quite unlike most sterile looking Mexican fast food places around town, this is more like what it’s like in a family run taqueria. Love it! It can get pretty busy at times as many locals from all over the spectrum seem to gravitate there. And in closing . . . Salsas! Not your watered down vinegary “accompaniment” but in fact, an addition to the meal! Big, full flavored homemade salsas in varying degrees of flavor profile and intensity. Congrats! You are...
