Perry Street Brewing is perhaps the vanguard fro mature beer recipes available anywhere in the Spokane, WA -- Coeur d'Alene, ID region.

Ben and Christy Lukes, the owners, have a nearly three year old brewery smack in the middle of the revitalizing Perry Street district (neighborhood) on the lower South Hill. At one their brewery fits right in, and snugly so, at the northeast corner of Perry Street and 11 Avenue on the lower Spokane South Hill.

As the master brewer, Ben Lukes produces perhaps the mast mature and true recipes I'd encountered through the Spokane Region (with nod to Slate Creek in Coeur d'Alene).

Lukes' recipes are mature and stand-up. No gimmicks. Yet specialty offering are available through the year as seasons of occasional.

A food truck is usually available just out in front as well as the light refreshment from the small kitchen compliments the brewed beverages.

I like the Kölsch and Northwest Pale best. All ales are filtered, unless noted otherwise. I also like the Milk...

I have gone to this place about four times now and have had similar experiences every time. The food is good, beer is alright (I know this part is slightly subjective), and atmosphere is nice. The reason why I am only giving this place two stars is because of the service. The last two times my friend and I went in, we had to go to the front counter to order our beers and food. The last time we went, we waited at the front counter for nearly 5 minutes before someone even talked with us to get our order. The girls looked at us multiple times and knew we were there to order but never even said hello or "we will be with you in a second". After being a server myself for many years, I understand that one may be very busy or understaffed but this is not a way to treat customers. I do not plan on going back unless a friend insists on going. There are plenty of other amazing places along...

Stopped in for a beer as I have heard great things. Went to the bar and sat, and sat and sat. One guy was working right across from us, one was on the register, no word from either one. The room was almost full, two guys behind the bar, and the kitchen was ringing out orders. I get it, we are working. We sat and a couple of guys came in after us and the staff started to serve them and we said, "Hey...you missed us." The response was " I'm not ignoring you, everything is happening in at once, I'll get to you when I get to you. Dont be pissed at me." Not pissed at all, disappointed and sorry I came in. From my perspective, no greeting, no assurance you'll be there in a minute, no conversation, is not attention. No acknowledgement, defensive attitude is not making a case for your care for customers....

Update 9/25: Came in for dinner and a few beers. Was excited to try the Oktoberfest, and it was amazing. Dinner was so good, very delicious burger and papas. The patio was perfect. Edit 8/4: I cannot thank the owner enough for how he handled a small issue I had with our visit. He was so professional and kind, I would give more stars if i could for the review. I cannot wait to re-visit. We came in for an early afternoon drink before dinner. The place was moderately busy, but we found a good spot on the patio. They took our drink order and both our beers were very good. Service was great, they checked on us several times. Would recommend for a great craft beer selection and great patio experience with this great weather.

I love the vibe and set up, and the staff are all pretty dope. The beers are quite crisp and crushable, so I can see lots of get-together opportunities. The outdoor space is desirable as you are at the start of the Perry District. Food is the only reason I gave a 4-Star. Nachos $$ protein is a separate charge, but 🔥 Potato Quesabrada (pic posted) $ PS Burger does NOT come with a side, so the plate looks empty and not desirable. However, the sandwich was delicious. Was told they don't have a fryer, so nothing fried. Overall, I have been there three times because of the atmosphere and proximity. Cheers, folks, and enjoy!

This place is awesome! They mainly serve beer since they are a brewery, but if you are looking for a simple but delicious quick bite I would highly recommend their food menu! I ordered the sliders, which you get to choose 3 from a selection of 3 different kinds. I got one of each. And I think these might be the best sliders I have ever ordered in my life. The quality of the ingredients was top notch and they paid extra attention to detail. The staff was friendly and helpful also. The atmosphere was relaxing, with a giant garage door that opens up and allows a seamless flow from indoor and outdoor seating.
