Center City Steaks & Pizza — Restaurant in Spring City

Ordered wings from this place as I’ve been for 25 years. There must be a new person operating the fryer because they put my 40 wings into two styrofoam containers... and it melted the top of the containers. Imagine that - hot wings against styrofoam... I’m pretty sure you shouldn’t eat that... but even though it ruined what I was bringing to my sisters for dinner, I was told I should have called the day it happened and “next time you need to do that”. Next time? Then spent more time asking me how many wings I have that I’m bringing back because that’s the number I will be credited for. At this point I didn’t receive one “I’m sorry for the inconvenience”, but instead I got a schooling on their return policy that isn’t written anywhere. The old owner sold it to his son, Larry Jr. Who apparently has a chip on his shoulder. He can keep my money and has lost a long time customer. What a shameful...

I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately there is no doubt in my mind that this place churns out the worst food in Spring City. I don't know how it has a 4 star rating. Vito's is better, Wilkie's is better but Center City can never do right by me. I have tried for 5 yrs on several occasions to order food from here but it's always disappointing. I wish I took a picture of the Large chicken cheesesteak stromboli we ordered with fried onions and there were no onions in it. It looked like a normal cheesesteak but wrapped at the ends like a burrito. Tasteless no spices, no salt, no pepper, no buttery garlic finish. Oh and it was definitely not a large. As a loyal customer for over three years, I will never use this owners business again on how unloyal and a liar he is to his customers. I always order take put, maybe once a week. I never said to leave my order on my doorstep. It took almost two hours for two cheese pizzas and a small hoagie. My order was left on my doorstep which my whole order was beyond cold. When calling the owner, he could care less on the phone and finally said he would provide a refund on my card for two pizzas. It has now been one week and I have not received a refund on my card. I will be seeking a refund by my back since the owner can’t keep his word. Go...
