It takes a lot for me to post a review - good or bad. I’m not a picky person nor am I a demanding person. I do not leave a 1 star review in vain.
I came on 12/13 at 5:40pm. I stood by the door for 5 minutes without any acknowledgment or indication of where to go before approaching the takeout station. I waited another 5 minutes in the takeout line for the takeout server to seat me at a booth. She never answered me when I asked if this was also the host station.
My waitress promptly came to get my drink order immediately after seating. I asked her if they did beer flights. She looked confused and asked me to repeat. I repeated this 3 times before she finally admitted she didn’t know what I was talking about. That’s fine- I figured the answer must be “no” then. I asked if it was possible to try a beer. She asked me to repeat so I asked louder. She didn’t know if they did that either. “Ok, I’ll just take this Leinenkugel Juicy Peach to make it easy” and pointed to it on the menu. She asked me to repeat again so I repeated and continued to point at the menu. I’m not anywhere close to a quiet person so maybe she was partially deaf 🤷🏻♂️. She smiled, took the order, and disappeared for 29 minutes. I’m not exaggerating or being dramatic. I knew it was 29 minutes because I checked my phone after ordering.
The bar runner dropped my beer at the 29 minute mark in almost in a full sprint and took off just as fast. It’s dinner time but the place isn’t even half full so I’m not sure where my waitress is or what the rush was from the bar runner. By the time the waitress took my food order, I was in the restaurant over 45 minutes at this point. It’s fine. I’m complacent to sit and scroll on my phone but starting to really take notice of how absurd this has become.
My food came out quick near the 1 hour mark. Garlic parm wings were awesome. The other half of my wings however were cold. Not sitting out for a long time cold - literally freezing cold. The sauce they were spun in must have come straight from the fridge.
The waitress came back to the table not even 10 minutes after delivering my food and, while I had a mouthful of food and saucy hands putting a chicken wing in my face, asked if I was ready for a to-go container and the bill. I still had over half a plate of wings and another plate with untouched fries but I just shrugged and said “sure”. At least i won’t have to wait long for the bill.
Atmosphere was typical Buffalo Wild Wings but someone on staff has a serious obsession with Seether because every 2-3 songs was Seether (they played Broken twice) and someone turned the volume up obnoxiously loud Every. Single. Time.
There’s not much in Springhill TN. Just a GM plant, a hotel, Target, Kohls, and 30 restaurants. There’s so many better places to eat both chain and non-chain.
1 star for five good...
Read moreI thought I found the worst BWW down in Montgomery, but oh boy this one takes the cake. That's saying something as I travel a lot and frequent BWW locations. I always forget BWW is owned by a fast food franchise, but this one laid that out in full color.
First came in and had to go to take out booth to be seated as no host present for a bit after walking in. Ok no big deal. Then I'm sat down and waited a fair bit before anyone showed up. Ok, just busy, right? Not by BWW standards, but I'll accept that.
I was sat at a table which still had hair on it and drink stains from previous diners. Looking around at other tables it became massively apparent the tables were not being wiped. I watched as the occasional table would be cleaned off, but not a single wipe on any of them. Not 1. Not many were cleaned off though either.
Then I receive my food and the fried pickles appetizer was laughable. I made mention and the waitress spoke with the manager. He relayed to her, rather than tending to the issue personally, that the pickles are portioned and that's what it is. It was mentioned that maybe they are just bigger cut pickles? I'll leave a pic and let you be the judge. Hand to God this was before I touched a single one and after I had already mentioned the issue. This is usually a sharable appetizer mind you, and even then just under half of the pickles were mounds of uncooked breading. Hey, it happens sometimes but far too much for this slim basket.
The boneless wings I ordered were overdone to a nice brick finish. Masonry wings I called them. Tapped on with the wrong sauce to boot. I could have continued my complaint, but why bother considering my last experience with the pickles.
Remember how I said few tables were cleaned off? I counted 4 different that were never cleaned during my entire stay there which was a little over an hour. Including the one directly beside me. *which to be fair that one was cleaned while I signed my bill. I'll include it. If I had to stare at it for an hour, then you should see it at least once.
Based on a lot of the reviews for this location, many have had the same experience. I implore upper management to get a handle on this. Not the manager working nights 12/15/24 though. As we see the ship they run. No doubt in my mind the only saving grace for this establishment is alcohol and location. Good luck with this one because it's a...
Read moreMy 8yr old & I arrive just before 7pm. 1:4 of the restaurant was closed - I’m assuming staff issues. We were instructed to go find a table at the bar or in the area (no problem). However, the table was sticky & gross from the last guest. Our server took our drink order & promptly returned with our beverages & took our order of boneless chicken - nothing special. When she passed, I asked for some napkins to clean the table off. She complied with several napkins & 2-forks. The table was sticky but we made due. We waited. Waited. Waited. No chicken. 45 minutes goes by & I joked with our server about ordering chicken from a chicken place… Another 20 minutes goes by & No Chicken. We decided to leave but wanted to be fair to the server. I left $11 to cover the beer & sprite then walked to the front to see a manager. It seemed as if he were playing or hiding in the kitchen. The manager came out & I explained we had waited for well over an hour for boneless chicken. He didn’t seem surprised but did say, “sorry”. He asked what he could do. I explained, “we’ll never be back.” He seemed okay with it…. smh I warned 2 other groups of 3 that chicken at a chicken place takes about an hour and a half. They were just as surprised to hear my story. The 8 of us went by Johnathan’s that was PACKED then decided for Logan’s across the street. They were busy but accommodating. I told the story to our server & bartender. They were not shocked and were treated the same way. We ordered a TON of food & tipped our server $250. Thanks, B-dubs for a failed opportunity in Springhill. As I told the “manager”, we will not be back. I assume the other 6 in our party feel the same. If possible, I’ll tell as many others in the area just how caring the management is about this experience. Server - FANTASTIC! She can only do as she’s led to...
