If I could give zero stars for a specific employee I would. Priscilla is sub standard with absolutely zero customer service skills and lacks any kind of courtesy whatsoever. She is in the drive thru window often. On several occasions I have ordered with her. 9 times out of 10 I ordered fire cracker shrimp only to be told they did not have it that day. Come to find out, it was made, but maybe a half hour later. I cant tell you how many times that happened. One particular visit, she told me to pull forward and park because she was waiting for the chow main. My order was brought out to me. Good thing I checked my order before leaving the parking lot because the noodles I was waiting for in the first place, there was not even 1 noodle in my box. I had to go in the restaurant after waiting for my order to have it corrected. No I'm sorry for the mistake, or an apology, nothing. I have learned to always check my orders before leaving because there are many mistakes, including entree serving sizes that are not even half of a serving. I ordered black pepper Angus steak as one of my entrees and there were literally 3 small pieces of steak!! An up charge of $1.25 for 3 small pieces of steak!! Really?! I drove around and handed my box to Priscilla and asked her to fix my entree and she said, "well there was more in there but whatever". She went and got someone else to handle this situation. Thomas, a cook, came to the window and told me he was not replacing the entree, and to come back tomorrow and speak to the manager. Thomas could have simply fixed the entree but chose to give me a hard time about it. He told me to leave the drive thru window because he was not fixing my order and I am holding up the line. Those 2 employees are incredibly rude and I cant wrap my head around the thought that they still have a job there. Zero customer service skills, rude, and full of horrible attitudes. I hope management catches on to their huge lack of work ethics. I'm sure there have been plenty of complaints about Priscilla. Beware of the one that says "we dont have that today". Poor...
Read moreI've been to this location many times over the course of its opening. I have to say for sure that the quality of this restaurant has sunk to the bottom. Ordering here is a shot in the dark EVERY single time, meaning the consistency is erratic. Drive thru can take 15+ minutes to order, and the food can be old and gross. Typically the only food you can get "fresh" (cooked within the last 30 minutes) is orange chicken. The rest of the food can literally be more than 2 hours old. There are times you should get food, and shouldn't get food here. It is normal for them to be out of something. I've had so many issues before coming here that I've given up on this place. They have forgotten my entrees before, in which when I came in I had to wait 5 minutes to even talk to somebody when I was staring at them with my receipt showing and when I finally got an employee's attention they didn't seem to care and gave me the kid sized box to give me the missing entree, they have pulled me up to the window after taking my order to tell me they were out of something, they have substituted ingredients in their entrees to make up for something that is out, for example their Shanghai Angus Steak is supposed to be made with asparagus, but instead contained green beans(this has happened to me many times.) Employees don't seem to be very interested or happy with their job, and this place is a joke that is still in business...
Read moreWow, talk about a disappointing experience. It nearly took us 10 minutes before we could order our food.
The fried rice was lukewarm AT BEST, and had a texture which my brother referred to as "rubbery." I mention this because he will literally eat anything, and even he thought it sucked.
My eggroll was the equivalent of a greasy paper towel wrapped around what I think was a chicken at some point. Flavorless, cold, soggy, and unpleasant.
My orange chicken was the only salvageable part of my meal. Even so, it's pretty hard to screw up orange chicken. However, despite the fact it was freshly made, (literally not in the serving bowl when I entered the restaurant) even THAT wasn't warm.
Normally I wouldn't care THAT much about something like this, but the fact that my meal alone was SEVEN DOLLARS (without the drink) is an absolute joke. If any of you readers need a restaurant in the area worth eating at, go to the O'Charley's next door. Overall, my meal at Porcelain Express will probably taste better coming out than it...
