Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Spring Hill

I used to go to Chicken Salad Chick ALL THE TIME in Bellevue. When one came to Spring Hill I was stoked. I have had 2 experiences with the Spring Hill location.

1. I showed up 30 seconds too late and they locked the door on myself and my mother. Eh. If they close at 8 and I showed up at 8 I don’t think that is a big deal if they lock the door. This I got over.
2. I started juice fasting and eat 2 meals a week. I was craving Chicken Salad Chick like nobody’s business. I got my usual Classic Carol on wheat with Broccoli Slaw side. I got home and I couldn’t be more disappointed. The broccoli slaw was superrrrrr light on the dressing. I didn’t think it even had any to be honest, but I could taste a little sweetness although it didn’t have the usual amount on there. Then the sandwich... man.... a thin slab of chicken salad on limp bread. I usually get lettuce and tomato, I’m not sure if this is something I need to ask for? But dang was I disappointed. No crunch, not much chicken salad at all. I get 2 meals a week of whatever I want and I just couldn’t be more disappointed. While I was eating it I was looking forward to my next meal in 2 days as this one did not live up to my expectation.

I gave this place 2 stars because I do love chicken salad Chick... but heck I won’t be going back to the Spring Hill location any time soon. Bellevue is where it is...

Stay away if you can not eat nuts or have a nut allergy. I informed the lady who took my order that I can Not eat nuts. I got the chicken salad that has pineapple in it due to liking grapes & apples in my chicken salad, but I have never put pineapple in it. Then, I ordered the grape salad as the side. They decided it was a good idea to put nuts on the top of the grape salad instead of leaving them off it. With that said, my appetite was gone as I don't trust the sandwich to not have nuts now. A different lady came over and asked to fix me some with no nuts. I said I didn't want it now. She brought it anyway and gave me a gift card for a free sandwich on my next visit. That was a nice gesture, but I won't be back, so I will give it to someone who doesn't have to worry about nuts being on their food. I stupidly brought the food home with me, but I am throwing it all out because I don't trust any of it now. The sandwich had minimal chicken salad on it. All you taste is the crescent roll Be aware if you have a nut allergy here. The parking area is beyond horrendous to try...

The prices are outrageous for the small portions that you get. If you have a big appetite make sure to skip this place unless you wanna throw down a lot of money which I didn't mind honestly because I loved it. I absolutely think the food is great and there are multiple flavors I like but at the end of the day it's just chicken salad and it doesn't justify the price. I used to love getting some of my favorite flavors in the quick chick containers but recently (even during the Covid pandemic) they raised the price of those even higher! Which is actually what led me to say enough is enough and write this review. So now im forced to buy the large quick chicks if I do go. The sad part is I used to be a regular customer, spending probably 200 to 300 a month here and the rewards program is a joke so all that money I spent never really got me anywhere too so I'll just make my own chicken salad at home from now on and imagine it's chicken...
