No 1 Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Spring Hope

I ordered the Family Meal for 4. This includes "4 Egg Roll, 1 Qt Pork Rice, 1 Qt Soup, 4 Crab Rangoon, 4 Teriyaki Chicken, 2 Items from Group F" (a selection on entrees). I asked for Shrimp Egg Rolls which are the same price on the menu, Lo Mein rather than Rice which I knew was an upcharge and a quart of Hot & Sour Soup.

Upon arriving, they up charged me $2 for the Lo Mein which I expected. Then they wanted to up charge another $2 for the egg rolls (again, same prices on the menu) and another $2 for the soup stating that only Egg Drop Soup was included. I argued that the egg rolls were the same price and nothing on the menu stated that the soup only covered egg drop soup.

She removed the extra $4 and stated under her breath that it was only $4. I responded that if they wanted to up charge, then it should be clear on the menu.

I got my food and asked for hot mustard, she handed me two. I asked for more and she handed me one more. I stated that this is for a family meal for 4 and I needed more than three packs. She reluctantly gave me 3 more and I was told that was all I was getting.

I left for the 6-mile ride home. When I got home, I had to air fry the egg rolls because they were not done and dripping with grease as were the crab rangoon. Both entrees were also cold. I feel they did this on purpose because they were unsuccessful in up charging me...

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I ordered takeout last Friday 2/13/15 and one of the dishes was sesame chicken. When I got home and served the meal, my family and i discovered there was very little chicken in the sesame chicken. Instead the dish was full of pieces of fried dough with a few small pieces of chicken here and there. I ended up mashing up a bunch pieces of fried dough trying to find chicken in the dish. There were six peanut-sized pieces of chicken in an entree full of fried dough.

I called and told the staff about the dish figuring I received the dregs of that batch of sesame chicken. They told me to bring it back and they would give me a lot of food. I drove the five miles back to the restaurant (we're in a rural area), and instead of replacing the dish, they wanted to charge me. I decided I didn't want any more food for them and requested my money back. They absolutely refused to refund my money, continually repeating that they have a no refund policy. I order from this place 12/08/2023 & woke up sick the next morning thanks to this restaurant. I'm 7 months pregnant and have a 2year old we was both eating from the same plate when I came across a whole bug in our food. I took the food and the bug back to the restaurant for my refund they give me an attitude didn't wanna give me the money back only gave me half 10 dollars after I paid 27 plus tax for the food.. The owner wanted to replace the food instead of giving me the money back after they gave me food with a bug in it.. They put me, my unborn child and my 2year at risk then turn around and treat me like I was the one in the wrong for asking for my damn money back.. I will never in my life eat from here again and I hope whomever does that y'all be careful and carefully check every bit of your food before and after you receive it.
