Subway — Restaurant in Spring Hope

I'm not a big fan of subway, however the staff here is pleasant. I went here roughly a month ago and still remember a great experience I had. I had asked the staff some of their favorite sandwich combo's. I settled with one of a younger gentleman's suggestions for a rotisserie chicken, and bacon on, the herbs and cheese bread. Toasted, with pepperjack cheese. Topping it off with spinach, black olives, peppercorn ranch, and their secret sauce (it has a label called "ask us about this sauce" and is one of my favorite buffalo sauces I have ever tried. It reminds me of a buffalo sauce, mixed with a Tennessee hot sauce. It has a little smokiness and kick) as well as salt and pepper. I asked him if he had ever named his creation, and we determined it shall be called the beast.

This was a memorable experience and I was happy the staff not only played around, but seemed joyed by getting to make some suggestions.

Well done subway, I still get this exact sub...

It used to be a good place to go, but standards declined fast. They don’t accept the majority of Subway’s mail coupons (as mentioned by one worker because the store does not want to lose money), the produce in the stainless steel containers were over refrigerated until frozen (so the vegetables are frozen to the containers and wilted), and the store is severely understaffed. I stopped in just a few mins ago asking to one one chicken breast for my 15 month child to eat. I explained I just wanted to buy the very small single piece of chicken. I was told I would have to buy a 6 inch sub to just get the meat. Now why would anyone pay 6$ for a piece of chicken.
