Taco Bell — Restaurant in Spring Lake

Taco Bell - fast food scale, not fine dining scale, not food truck scale, not sit down restaurant scale. pay attention.

BLUF: I tend to review based off the protein options. This is rating taco bell food more than this location's workers. They are fine. What this company is serving for protein options seems lacking to me though. Read on.

classic stacker $2.29 - 7.2 / 10 meat and cheese and I think sour cream? best thing I ordered. good for price.

mexican pizza $5.49 - 3 / 10 low quality beef. low quality beans. very unpleasant.

NEXT 4 ITEMS $6.49 - great value for price cruchwrap supreme - 5 / 10 uneven distribution of ingredients make bites all taste different. this is just okay.

beefy 5 layer - 5 / 10 uneven distribution of ingredients make bites all taste different. this is just okay.

cheesy fiesta potatoes - 6.5 / 10 anything from taco bell with lots of cheese and sour cream is good. basic, but works.

ice coffee - 9 / 10 very refreshing on a hot day. coffee has a perfect taste for general public. i wouldn't mind a slightly blacker version of this.

cantina crispy taco FREE - 3 / 10 low quality chicken. saved by the sauce it comes with.

fast food scale: 4 / 10, app has deals, you need sauces to power through food. service: 7 / 10, longer wait than app told me but the girl at the window was really nice and had a nice smile interior: not sure.

Overall, if you need sauces to power through the food, that food is not that good. Halfway through my meal I was just wondering "what am I even eating" and didn't finish a lot of it because I'm trying to mitigate my stomach having to process all this. If you taste the beef by itself it tastes vegan. If you taste the chicken by itself it tastes vegan. If your tacos taste better just because you're being carried by a Doritos shell, that's not Taco Bell food being good, that's the public's love of Doritos carrying your below-average food quality. I'm not knocking people that come here for their favorite sodas or non-protein sides, but Taco Bell's protein options are lacking. This is not the workers' faults. I would take a chicken or burger spot, or even a Panera salad over TB any day at this price point, but it was good having a lot of TB today to teach myself I will never come back here again. With the app you CAN get a good amount of food though, so if you are starving and just need something edible by humans to get you through the day, come here for your energy sources and cautiously put these items...

absolutely horrible service. They were extremely disrespectful. When my husband, two of our friends, and I drove into the drive through, we were asked "what can we get started for you" we replied with "one second, we are looking." and the drive through worker immediately responded with "you know you guys can just order online." then he immediately gave his headset to a woman. I assume she was the manager and you could easily tell that she had an attitude. My husband and I then put in our order, and our friends in the back had asked if they can put in a second order so we could do it separately. This made her attitude grow worse. After they put their order in (which it was just 2 crunchwraps, 3 waters, and a cinnabon delite pack) she then yelled at us saying "Are you finally done.?! Or do you wanna add anything else?! Are you sure you don't want to add anyyything else?!" which we then drove to the drive through, and collected our order. (the young girl in the window was nice.) and left. I've never written a review for anywhere before until now but this in encounter was unbelievable. They were so disrespectful and we didn't even provoke them whatsoever. All of you people on here with a negative comment should take a walk in their shoes. I have been a DoorDasher for quite some time and I stay in the Spring Lake area to get access to Fort Bragg Deliveries. Every person I have met from every single shift has been nice and done the best they can given the amount of DoorDash orders they receive. How about y’all have a little compassion for the high pace environment in which they work because realistically without them you wouldn’t get food at all you would have to drive way further to get Taco Bell from somewhere else. Instead of doing all this nagging and complaining how about you put on a Taco Bell shirt and clock in and help them out. I can’t stand people who are negative for no reason. The fast food locations in Spring Lake nine times out of 10 go to Fort Bragg to feed the soldiers, which is why they are so busy and have so many orders so next time you want to ruin somebody’s day by posting a horrible review think about how you would feel if you was in the same situation At least they come to work to make sure they serve miserable...
