Tonight I drive thru the drive thru to get three shakes, it was pretty busy but I didn’t mind waiting at first. Once we were able to get up to the speaker it had been 15-20 minutes waiting in line but I was prepared with my order and ready to get my shakes. The first thing the employee says to me is they are not serving shakes or wraps tonight (no sign up anywhere saying that they weren’t serving it) now that I have waited in line for 20 minutes to even ask for my order they aren’t serving it! I had to wait an extra 15 minutes to get out of the line because I was having to wait for the two cars in front of me to get their food because I have no way of getting out. In total I waited more than 35 minutes in line for me to not get anything at all. While I watched as 6 people drove up then drove away because they didn’t have what they wanted. All probably wanting shakes as well since this fast food restaurant is known for their shakes. Now I’ve never had a problem with cook out before. I would 100% recommend their food and shakes however, if you’re not able to serve one of the things you are known for you could at least put up a sign saying so. So, people like me won’t have to wait in line for 35+ minutes to get served nothing! I only give this review a 3 star because I’ve had good food in the past. I did one star for the food and service because I was unable to get food and the service could’ve been better if there was a sign up saying what they are not serving...
Read moreThe drive thru speaker is horrible, it’s unnecessarily loud, is high pitched, and literally hurts your ears. I had to repeat and repeat and repeat the order, and they still didn’t get it right. The equipment is In desperate need of an upgrade!
The three employees that I saw were all wearing their mask on their chins, apparently that is the proper way Cookout trains their employees to prevent the spread of COVID. And although the employees were wearing gloves they would tough their face, their hair, etc!!! So sanitation needs to be addressed as well.
Employees need to verify order, repeat the order back to the customer ( assuming the speaker actually worked properly) so that order mistakes will not be an issue….
So tonight, I ordered a Cheddar Style Burger -
I asked for no grilled onions, and then repeated that “I only want bread, the hamburger patty , bacon, Mayo and cheese!!!! And a double order of cheese bites!!!! I get home and there are 7ish cheese bites, and the Cheddar Style Burger that I ordered consisted of bread, the hamburger patty, Mayo, and grilled onions, lettuce and tomato, I told the girl that did NOT want the veggies, and I wanted the bacon and cheese , why would you make a cheddar style burger without any cheese!!! I mean some of it is just common sense!!
Oh and the shakes we ordered were as thin as...
Read moreWent there 1/11/21 around 5:30 pm and it was the worst effort of trying to order and quality of my food. Now I know the speakers are not the best. Sorry, it doesn’t take a customer repeating an order for a tray with picking two sides and a drink, five times of clearly speaking to get it correct. I ordered a cheeseburger tray with fries and nuggets with swt tea. After I paid the girl and I’m waiting and looking the other way, when I turn around, her and the guy co-worker are staring at me in the car with a smirk on their faces. After pulling off to drive home, the fries and nuggets are hot but I noticed the burger is dam near room temperature. So now it’s funny to serve food that probably if room temp shoulda been thrown away. Now I’ve ordered from this particular spot for the last 3 months, about 2x weekly because it’s on my way home. I always get great service and hot food. I was not amused by the little game of I can’t hear nothing or that room temp burger. Since they thought it was cute to give me food like that. Don’t worry going elsewhere to spend my money. Respect for the other co workers who were always awesome but those two workers I encountered,...
