This is the location by my house, so I'm usually stuck coming here when I need a Chipotle fix, and as a former employee of the company, I'm always really disappointed with either the food, the service, or the store, and sometimes all of the above at once.
For today, the food was very good and prepared with great care by the crew member. She made sure to really drain everything as I asked so my tacos didn't sog out. The downsides were that they had a cashier who tried to charge me 3x for queso and 3x for guacamole because I had 3 tacos... She clearly hadn't been trained that an order of tacos is 3 and that extra should he charged 1x for the whole order, not 3x per piece. I wasn't offered a tray and she put her fingers inside my cup. So there's a few things at cash wrap that need to be handled. Additionally, I bought a small drink only to find the drink station totally broken down with little available, a huge mess, a ladder in my way, and the utensils and Napkins in disarray. I had to go back and ask for a bottled beverage to make up for it because what I wanted on fountain was all broken down and unavailable. It remained that way the entire 30 mins I was inside eating.
This store lacks quality and qualified leadership and management. I worked at Decatur & Sahara, and that store is ran TIGHT. The manager is out greeting and assisting on the floor constantly, and picks up the slack when crew falls behind. None of that happens at this store. I couldn't tell you who a manager or crew leader is. The night shift at this store is usually very rude, so it was nice to have friendly crew making my food at lunch today.

Read moreBarbacoa burritos were inedible. They were too salty. I have eaten numerous items from Chipotle Mexican Grill and this is the first time I have ever had an issue with their food. I am guessing that someone spilled too much salt into the white rice as there was not enough beef in the burrito to even notice. The burrito was pretty much all rice, beans and tortilla and I paid $24 for two burritos! I would expect a little better quality and quantity for this price. I can find numerous sit-down Mexican restaurants in Las Vegas that serve better quality food for the same price or less.
I called the restaurant and was transferred to a speech IVR system (recording). After a few questions and entries, I was informed that I could not speak with a live person as the employees were busy preparing food for customers. I find that to be humorous as I saw five employees standing around when I entered the store and there was only one customer there other than myself. This was at 6:00 PM on a Wednesday evening - 05/22/2024.
The recording instructed me to go to the Chipotle website and go to customer support. I was then directed to chat support - “Ask Pepper”. I entered my issue with the food and Pepper stated that they were sorry that I was unhappy with my order and that the issue would be sent to management. The chat was closed by “the agent” - AI chatbot.

Here is what happened today… I am in a wheelchair, I can not see her fixing my meal, so I think she is doing it correctly. I asked for extra rice, I got hard,dried out, stuck together rice, like it was the side of the pot. I ask for double of both beans, no juice. I got black beans, and tons of juice… GROSS!!!!! I got steak, 12 small pieces… yes, I counted them! And I asked for cheese, but got no cheese. That was all I wanted, nothing more. I paid for my food and left. When I went to eat it later, there was just a tiny bit of food, swimming in a sea of black bean juice… the rice was inedible, did not want to break a tooth on it! So I counted the pieces of meat.. 12. And they were small, not the nice chunks they normally have.
I feel like the girl did it on purpose, cause at first I asked for lettuce and then changed my mind and she said “ heaven forbid you have something healthy!” Her rudeness was uncalled for! I feel like she made my meal tiny, and gross on purpose.
