Formerly a regular part of the lunch rotation, Estiatorio Milos Chef Nikos Georgousis and Girair ‘Jerry’ Goumroian of Henderson’s The Great Greek all-but rescuing the plaza on Rainbow at Tropicana in early 2017, it was once again that Meraki was ordered on Tuesday. Nothing less than an Off-Strip sensation since opening its doors guests may now opt for dine-in or take-out from any of six locations, Meraki’s servings always more than generous and prices affordable even as prices everywhere rise. Defined as “doing something with soul, creativity and love,” a spirit embodied by courteous employees, it was at noon that employees arrived to easy-stacking boxes containing temperature-control trays, this simple extra step guaranteeing Food is indistinguishable from that served inside the Restaurant. Serving a diverse crowd, but doing so with an impressive spread of Proteins, Produce and imported Ingredients, Hummus remains a highlight in terms of taste and texture while tangy Tzatziki shines thanks to “authentic” Greek Yogurt. This time putting plenty of Feta on Meraki’s Salads, just the it aught to be, Greek Rice receives high praise for its fluffiness and flavor while the Gyro kit allowed ample customization of marinated Chicken or Gyro Meat with Tomatoes, Lettuce and Onion Happy to find no shortage of Pita, soft and warm rounds gratuitously slathered with dueling Spreads, Vegetarians can choose crisp and oilless Potatoes lightly perfumed by Herbs or two-bite Falafel that are light but toothsome and fragrant with Garlic as well as Cilantro. Not forgetting Dessert, Mama’s Rice Pudding always a staff favorite, Honey-soaked Baklava rife with Walnuts is also highly recommended and arguably the best in Sin City.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for YEARS !! I always hint about wanting to go here, but we finally came here for our anniversary. Everything we ordered was so good, I’m so happy we live close by ! We got beef & lamb gyro w/ fries and the steak kalamaki plate. THE FRIES WERE SO BOMB I asked my man to stop eating all of them too, he wish he got the fries instead of the rice bc they’re so good ! Probably the best restaurant fry I’ve ever had, they were so crispy ! I ended up ordering more bc I wanted to have some later when I finish the other half of the gyro. I ordered the baklava ice cream to go and got a to go box for the rest of my food. On the way home, I was thinking about how I should write a review and how excited I am to finish the food later. That’s when I realized I accidentally left the food on the table !! I called, thank god they didn’t throw it awayyy. The lady with the buns was so nice the whole time we were there, she said usually she throws it away but she knew I was gonna come back for it LOL. I’m glad they were able to tell I really enjoyed the place haha. Needless to say, we’re definitely coming back another time ! Thank you guys for the good food and amazing service 🙏🏼💗

Last night was my first time coming here . I got my order to go . I got the Chicken Kalamakia ( 2 Chicken Skewers ) with Rice and Greek Salad . The place was pretty busy , so very popular . The cashier was nice and helpful . I didn't have to wait long for my food which was very unexpected . The place was clean and nice atmosphere . The Chicken was pretty good , but could have used a little more flavoring . It was cooked perfectly . The rice was good also , not bland and not a lot of flavoring either . I sometimes go to Turkish places for like the same thing and they tend to use a little more spices , but I understand this is Greek not Turkish . I was in the Army in Germany and we used to go to Crete , Greece every year and loved the Gyros there and other foods . As far as Turkish food , in Germany you get the Döners from the street vendors at night after a good night of drinking . They are like a Gyro , but their version . Anyway , I will come back here again to try a Gyro next time . The prices are pretty good compared to other places in town . I would definitely recommend you trying this place .

I discovered this restaurant while staying in the area and was immediately hooked. I actually visited 3 times over the span of a week and really enjoyed the menu. The service however was not as consistent.

I ordered the chicken Kabobs each time and found them to be cooked perfectly and not dried out at all. The rice was fluffy, the salad was quite fresh. Their greek dressing is great. The pita seemed homemade and delicious. They are quite skimpy with the side of tzatziki and you really should get an extra. It too was good, just not enough of it. I also tried the fries and the baklava and they were both nicely done. I really don't have a single complaint about the food.

On my final visit I tried to order online and found it wouldn't accept the order I guess since they were closing in about 45 minutes. I called and they said I could order on the phone no problem. They quoted me 10 minutes and I was sure to be there in 10 minutes. That is where it got weird. I asked for my order and she typed away in the register as if she was booking an airline ticket. I gave her the name I gave on the phone, Jim. She eventually said "James? " Yes that is my legal name but not what I told them on the phone. They apparently had a record me me from my previous orders. She ended up calling over other people, pointing at things. I couldn't imagine what was so complicated. Then she started speaking in another language to the other staff, Greek? Russian? I have no idea but I am sure their English is just fine. They obviously were talking about me. She then took my money including a tip as I assumed they were about to hand me the food. Other customers came and went, ordering and picking up food without issue. Staff kept coming by and noticing I was standing there for a long time, I saw the kitchen staff point to me and ask what was going on. Nobody spoke to me though.

25 minutes later my food came up. That's a long shot from 10. They never apologized, never explained what the issue was, never tried to make up for it with a desert or even a cup of water. I suspect they forgot to put in the order. I also heard them telling other people they ran out of rice, so perhaps they made some for me since they accepted the order. Regardless I felt very uncomfortable and unappreciated after this visit and will not be back to this location. Order at your own risk. If and when you get the food it will probably be good though.

Also on my first visit they made it very clear they wanted a tip after I didn't include one online and they made a big deal about signing the receipt for an already paid for order. Other reviews seem to echo this attitude as well. Tipping is for good service, it's not mandatory for a...

I am an avid patron of the Las Vegas night life, especially when it comes to fine dining due to the industry in which I operate my company. I specialize in event planning so I provide my clients with only the best the this city has to offer. In a thriving community of 5 star restaurants located on the infamous Las Vegas strip, is it possible to venture beyond that realm and still find the superior quality cuisine, customer service, impeccable presentation, and an atmosphere that replicates the chic sophistication of sin city.

One of the objectives in the success of my company is finding hidden gems that I can take my clients to that I know is guaranteed to wow them but for my own personal enjoyment as well. I have had 1000’s of unbelievable experiences at restaurants all over the world and without hesitation I can say that Meraki Is in my top 5 dining excursions ever! You will not find another restaurant that takes you from start to finish with more creativity, imagination, heart, and pure passion for the art of Greek cuisine as this establishment does on an every day basis. Meraki specializes in Mediterranean entrees and delicacy’s but with an American fusion that will immediately make you a dedicated visitant of this restaurant.

What ever the occasion, lunch or dinner. Private event, casual, or formal they will accommodate with a staff that is without a doubt the hardest working, most genuine, and customer aware that you will ever come across. I can not rave enough about this up in coming, off the strip, locally defined and operated restaurant that delivers a 5 star gourmet menu at a fraction of the Notorious Las Vegas dinner houses. It’s incredible and extremely rare to find such a unique concept like Meraki that wants to share their love of the Mediterranean culture by connecting with the human spirit. What a more beautiful way then through love, laughter, and life…you will get all of that and one of the greatest dining endeavors ever at Meraki. Take the family, your friends, or just stop in for a glass of wine and conversation. There are no boundaries, only possibilities at Las Vegas’ best local restaurant.

I will be dining there for years to come so I can taste home cooking at its very best in an environment that only brings you happiness and harmony. Thank you Meraki for bringing back the excitement of dining in, out, or even having it delivered to your front door. An absolute revelation in the culinary industry is in the palm of our hands. You have set the the standard in my eyes and I know this is only the...
