Serving Las Vegas for nearly forty years one might assume Metro Pizza has the delivery game down to a science, but by utilizing a central phone number and e-mail specifically for catering John Arena and Sam Facchini’s Pizzeria goes one step further than most to assure seamless customer service.
Serving Las Vegas for over forty years one might well assume Metro Pizza has the delivery game down to a science, and even now with more competition than ever John Arena and Sam Facchini’s Pizzeria remains irreproachable in terms of customer service and quality.
Suitable for almost any budget, though recent changes have eliminated some items with the online menu yet to reflect those adjustments, it was half-selecting and otherwise deferring the order largely to Metro that four Pies plus Bread, Entrees, Salad and Dessert were received for under $15 per guest, the all-inclusive cost predictably yielding enough for all plus plenty of leftovers.
Now the tenth time delivering to this office, in addition to a dozen or more visits to locations on Decatur or Sky Pointe, it was beginning with Salad that many once again praised Metro’s duo of housemade Dressings, though those more concerned with eating while Food was still temperature appropriate predictably went straight for the recently launched “Zamboni” Pizza complete with two Meats, Roasted Peppers and a generous drizzle of Hot Honey.
Moving next to Meatballs, the combination of Pork and Beef with almost no binder predictably dense and rich in contrast to tangy Tomato Sauce, it is no surprise that Metro’s Sausage, Peppers and Onions also performed beautifully amongst a staff that frequently gravitates towards pronounced spicing and big flavors.
Not about to pass by 86th Street, the cold-fermented Crust remaining defiantly light despite its thickness even after traveling ten miles, the decision to add a stuffed Pie on this visit was due to a request for “just” Cheese by some guests, a gooey blend of three between two layers delicious on its own or dipped in Sauce while another standard Cheese Pizza showed off Metro’s Ingredient quality in a more expected way.
Finishing with Metro Pizza’s Dessert platter for the first time, fifteen filled-to-order Cannoli outlasting more familiar choices such as Chocolate Cake and Espresso-soaked Tiramisu, suffice it to say that recently renamed “Four High Carrot Cake” has lost none of what made it one of Sin City’s best while New York-Style Cheesecake has been upgraded by a crackling...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible, it’s 8:15 and we order a pizza. There’s five of us staying in a house, we’re in vacation and we’re all over the place so we’re tired and hungry. We decide to hot tub it for a while while we wait and leave one of our group inside to wait for the pizza. He waits... we come in at 9 (which is when they said we’d have a pizza) pizzas not here so we think no bid deal, decide to clean up, shower and then eat cause surely the pizza will be there by then... much to our surprise it was not. Almost an hour later it’s now 9:59 so we call, the guy who answers the phone says our delivery man has left the building with our pizza and is on our way. The restaurant is five minutes away. We wait thirty minutes, now keep in mind we’ve been anxiously waiting by the door AND THE PHONE just in case being that none of us have eaten in hours and we’re counting on this pizza to keep the hangry at bay. At 10:30 we call, and the person who answers the phone this time says the delivery guy came knocked and waited fifteen minutes and called the phone number we gave.... guess what.... that’s a line of bulls**t... we’ve been waiting, paying attention, even turned on the porch light and opened the gate for the guy so he wouldn’t have to bother while holding our precious cargo in the other hand. The things he claims he did, he absolutely did not do, and to make it even better this particular company apparently lets their drivers go home at 10-10:30 so now there’s no chance of us getting our food. We’re eating cereal. Thank god we opted not to pay with a card...
Read moreThis place is awesome! I've been coming pre and post and during covid and this place was always super friendly, super fresh, and super good. Lots of options, I'm a pepperoni person and this place does it perfect with a nice crisp crust, two kinds of pepperoni, meats, chicago, style etc. I was searching all over for great pizza since 2017 and found this place and I've been loyal ever since because they treat me well, the are organized, they seem to know their stuff being from Chicago, I've tried other places like Angelina's and that place is an utter joke compared to everything else. Never go there, they will rip you off and try to take your spirit and soul. Metro cops eat here at Metro Pizza and they hang out at Angelina's to watch on the staff and the craziness that happens during the night in that strip mall on Russell and and Rainbow. Eat Metro, they will treat you right and you will not throw up on their ranch because it's awesome. Take it from someone who knows the people and the area in Las Vegas. And don't forget the NUKE spice. Since I bought a bottle of NUKE spice I hardly need to go to Metro anymore. ...
