Actual Rating 4.7⭐️
This is my 1st time at this restaurant. A friend was interested trying Indian food again and he found this place after reading Google reviews. So him and I, along with another friend who hasn’t had a lot of experience with Indian food decided to give this place a try. I’m no stranger to Indian cuisine. As a matter of fact it’s probably my favorite cultural food. We went in for the lunch buffet because I wanted my friends to get a good variety of tastes. There wasn’t a lot of people when we first walked in but as we were eating there came quite a few more parties.
Atmosphere 4.5⭐️: The restaurant has a nice setting. I didn’t take any pictures because there are a few already. The tables are nice. Seating is comfortable and the aromas coming from the kitchen are inviting.
Cleanliness: 5⭐️ the restaurant is very clean. The bathrooms are also very clean. And the buffet stations are constantly cared for. I was impressed.
Service: 5⭐️ Our server was very attentive and very friendly. Although the waiter wasn’t serving food, he was very quick to refill drinks and take away plates.
Food Quality & Taste: 5⭐️ This was my first visit to Spice. I tried most everything on the buffet line. And everything is great tasting. And the food is very fresh. It’s nice to see that there are plenty of people who dined there so that there was a rather quick turnover of food. It kept everything fresh. The naan was also great.
Price/value: 4⭐️ Price before tax is about $18. After tax and tip it’s over $20. Although it’s pricier than I’d like to pay for lunch, it’s on par with other Indian Restaurants as far as price for the buffet. If it were $14+ it would draw me in quite often.
Summary: This is closest to a full 5 stars that I have given any restaurant. One of my previously favorite restaurants is out on Eastern and Silverado Ranch which is not close to where I live or work. Spice is actually close to both. Although I still like the other restaurant, this place has moved up to the number one position. I will be back, and probably more often than my...

Rating: ★★★☆☆
Review: I recently visited Spice Indian Cuisine for their buffet, and I had a mixed experience overall. Here is a breakdown of my visit:
Starters: ★★★★☆ The starters at Spice Indian Cuisine were delightful. They offered a variety of flavors and textures, with options like samosas, pakoras, and tikkas. The appetizers were well-seasoned, crispy, and had a nice balance of spices. They were definitely the highlight of my meal.
Main Course: ★★☆☆☆ Unfortunately, the main course did not live up to my expectations. While the buffet had a decent variety of dishes, I found the flavors to be lacking. Some of the curries tasted average and lacked the authentic Indian touch I was hoping for. The dishes were not bad, but they didn't stand out either. It would be great if the restaurant could work on improving the overall taste and quality of their main course offerings.
Desserts: ★☆☆☆☆ The desserts at Spice Indian Cuisine were a major letdown. They lacked variety and freshness. The options were limited, and the quality was below average. The sweets were overly sweet and lacked the authentic flavors I associate with Indian desserts. It was a disappointing end to an already mediocre dining experience.
Ambiance and Service: ★★★★☆ The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance, with comfortable seating arrangements and a warm atmosphere. The staff members were polite and attentive, providing prompt service throughout the meal. They were knowledgeable about the dishes and were willing to answer any questions I had.
Overall, my experience at Spice Indian Cuisine was a mixed bag. While the starters and the restaurant's ambiance were commendable, the main course and desserts were underwhelming. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback constructively to enhance the flavors and variety of their dishes, especially the main course and desserts. With some improvements, it has the potential to be a great Indian dining destination.

Read moreCame by on a Thursday early evening around 5pm with my mom. Just a few people were in already having dinner. We were promptly greeted by the lovely hostess/server and shown to a booth. I noted a pretty well-stocked bar and apparently they do a lunch buffet.
I knew we wanted paneer makhani, but I also saw they served malai kofta which really piqued my interest. Now, I've been burned in the past by restaurants serving bad frozen kofta or kofta that had really bad seasoning. I was REALLY curious about trying their kofta since the overall reviews are so good. On ordering, I was honest with the server about being on the fence - she just smiled and told me "Our malai kofta is good." I took her word and sprung for the dish.
Malai Kofta: 5/5 She was right, the malai kofta is gooooooood. Delicious. Creamy. Nutty. Rich. We ordered medium spicy and the spice level was accurate. The portion was extremely generous and came with a comparatively small portion of rice (which was fine to me as I'm sure we could've asked for more). The kofta were perfectly flavored with visible potato to paneer. The kofta were huge and dense. Still thinking about this dish.
Paneer Makhani: 5/5 Velvety. Appropriate light natural tomato sweetness. Buttery. Tons of creamy good paneer. Another delicious dish, great portion size. Also came with rice.
Paneer Kulcha: 5/5 Beautifully spicy, savory, and packed with spices. This one is loaded with cumin so be aware.
Veggie Momo: 5/5 Sometimes you'll get momo with mushy veggies - not here. The vegetables inside each dumpling are perfectly seasoned and cooked while still maintaining their integrity. The momo sauce is freshly made with punchy spice and ginger. Tip: If you don't like spicy food you will not like the momo sauce.
The food was so good I forgot to take...
