I've been to many boba tea places all over Las Vegas for years in search of the best boba place. I've found it.
They use real ingredients that give their tea a very accurate flavor of what they describe and their boba is properly made. What really makes this place fun is their selection of plastic light bulb shaped cups with various sticker faces to choose from. Their prices are very fair given the high quality of ingredients that they use, and how much product you actually receive. Also, comparing their prices to other boba places you actually get a great deal; given the fact that the quality is much higher for about the same price at any run of the mill boba place.
My very first order was a Thai tea boba and I was hooked. The tea itself was very prominent while the milk washed my tongue with creamy bliss leaving me ready to chew the delightfully fun boba.
The staff is very well mannered and welcoming and even has a menu for first timers so you can get an "easy" tea. Which leads me to my next point. Mr. Tea has a few unusual flavor options. I recently tried their rose milk tea. It literally tastes like roses. Which might be a little too much for some people to try out at first.
I love their range of flavor options. It's fun to experiment a little but its also comforting knowing they have solid general flavors too. It's almost like a flavor balancing act.
A small detail I enjoyed was their payment process. If you want to leave a tip but aren't carrying any cash you can do so right from your card onto their system but it takes it out alongside your total. That way your tip is processed right away and isn't left pending on your bank account. This is such a small yet convenient feature.
All in all, this is THE boba place to be. They have an amazing product with a friendly staff and a fun little experience that has left...
Read moreThere are definitely other boba places to choose from in this town. It just happened to be the first one to pop up on google when we drove by the area.
We ordered 5 medium drinks and 3 crepe cakes. Paid almost $64 total.
Mille Crepe cakes were ok, but not impressive enough for $8.50 a slice.
Boba drinks were your standard corner store mixes. Nothing exciting about the drinks we ordered and the selection was ordinary. Honey bobas were good tho, it was perfectly cooked. That's about the only good thing in this place, the honey boba.
Cashier whispered behind the plexi glass and two layers of face masks. It was annoying to have to repeat yourself and ask her to repeat herself a few times. Maybe speak up through your layers of protection next time. Oh, and the receipt pls!
There was one person waiting for a drink when we arrived, and they had two drink pick ups before us.
Two attendants were going back and forth the kitchen (idk why and for what). They acted busy, and it took some time (maybe around 15-20 minutes) for them to hand us our drinks and pre-packed cakes.
While eating the cakes, we asked if they had napkins and they gave us ONE piece of single ply folded napkin. Idk if they were trying to be funny, or that's just how they roll. Either way, it's a no-go.
We just wanted to treat our mothers to boba today. Mr. Tea took their time today, so I'm taking mine to write this review. I give...
Read moreNice Tea House Cafe. Atmosphere was very nice, with nice music playing. The cafe setting looks like a little country side coffee shop. They even have a cute swinging bench you can sit on. It's overall a relaxing place.
They have a simple menu which I prefer, the most popular tea, milk tea drinks, with a few additional flavors and blends, including a coffee blend. Toppings include the most popular boba, crystal boba, jellies, and pudding.
You can adjust the sweetness of your drink, from none to super sweet. THEY DO THE TRADITIONAL HAND SHAKEN drinks, the teas and milk teas are not premade and scooped out from the large container. I love that!
Drinks come in a few sizes that I see. Regular, Large, Light Bulb, and a Split Cup where you can have 2 different drinks.
We had a classic milk tea with honey boba, 75% sweet, boba was soft and chewy, sweetness didn't take over the tea flavor. Coffee milk tea, 75% sweet. Coffee and tea combo was a match, I could taste both coffee and tea, at a equal level. Taro milk tea with Crystal Boba. The drink had real taro bits inside, so definitely not the powder. The crystal boba is a tiny clear jelly, a hint to sweetness to it.
We will be coming back to try...
